I mean the topic has the word Ecklund in the title. Don't want to see a diccussion about it.. don't click it. Personally, I like reading just about everything on this forum.. except for.. "please don't post" posts. They reek of "bash the new guy" syndrome. I say, more members, more voices, more topics = better forum. Basically saying "Your posts sucks and you are an idiot for posting it" doesnt exactlly encourace newer members to get involved in discussions. Also.. i read (and enjoy) Garth's column on Ecks site all the time and even enjoy Ecks outlandish, highly speculative rumors. Trade rumors are just that, rumors. The best part is people are like OO yea that Semin guy who has played like absolute crap for the past two years we should get him.... shoot me. Actually I disagree - I think the Sabres (with Pegula's direction/guidance) do have the balls to pull off a major trade IMO - and yes, a major shakeup is needed. Something just ain't smelling right with this team, so either Ruff goes or 2/3 name players go. Simple as that. Something needs to give. Everyone has injuries, I get it.....we are fortunate to have great organizational depth which actually played to our favor by allowing us to give the young kids valuable experience and perhaps creating trade scenarios involving certain veterans. I say say all of this, of course, without any tangible belief of any of the trade rumors floating around out there. Listening to Ted Black last week on Simon's show, he stated verbatim that the Sabres will do anything at anytime to improve this club, so I think the willingness is there. Derek Roy is a 60-70pt a year player with a great contract that according to the "adults" is worth about as much as a fart in hurricane. So I give up. People around here can't even take a joke. Its a sports team. You should grow up and move on with life because there are more important things than this team winning a cup. Also I will say fail whenever I so chose because unlike any generation that has come before the Millenials, we think in a completely different and not understood way. They have mapped the brain of 20 year versus that of 40, 60, and 80 year old and found that the Millenial generation is the first generation in 10,000 years to have their brain completely rewired to think in a digital way. There is no anger behind this post, only sadness. Sadness that people would rather whine and bitch about a sidenote to a stupid thread than actually say that this team is in need of an overhaul. It boggles the mind how no one on this team is worth anything but hey in the words of the older generations i guess i should just go "sit on it" or "go to hell" or whatever because I am a little kid whos ideas are stupid.
