The Drury-Briere combo was great but ... even when we all wanted them to stay, I think we were thinking a couple runs at the Cup and by now the window would be closing, at least for them as THE GUYS on the team. The co-captains reunited in NY should make for some interesting Sabres-Rangers games at home. They save about 1 million on the cap by losing Gomez and getting Briere. But again, not confirmed yet.
