  1. Still waiting to hear what Buffalo did to Linus that was so awful. Honestly, it sounds like sour grapes. I'm not expecting to hear anything substantial from @MODO Hockey. That said, I know some guys who play and I understand where @MODO Hockey may be coming from since Linus is a personal friend of his and that's fine. No hard feelings 🤝🏻.
  2. Without naming names, and I've said this before, I regularly skate with some Ducks and Kings alumni, a few of which remain employed by their respective franchises. However, in this case, the source is a current NHL head coach (not Ducks or Kings) who I've known personally for the past 10 years or so. I'll leave it at that. You can probably figure it out looking at my post history.
  3. FWIW one of my sources says he expects something to happen w/ Eichel over the next 48 hours. He's been quiet thus far on the topic, which is why it caught my attention. That said, I still don't think anything happens until we get closer to mid-August and all the FA dust has settled.
  4. Since I can't read properly, please enlighten me... I'm all ears. I know Kevyn personally and I can say without any doubt he's not the type to purposefully wrong anybody. He's respectful and treats others fairly, so I'm sorry but I find it extremely hard to believe he personally mistreated Linus at any point in time.
  5. Which is why you keep him in that case. At some point, either his neck will heal or it won't and surgery will be on the table.... he comes back healthy and is put on notice that if you want out, then play and put up points so we can get fair value.
  6. "..I will never forgive them for what they did with Linus (this is personal)" Seriously? They drafted him, developed him, gave him a career in hockey. They also gave him carte blanche to mourn the passing of his father last season and offered him a contract to be their starter, which he turned down for a division rival.
  7. Like I said before Eichel has a bad reputation in some league circles. I know for a fact there are teams simply not interested because of these character concerns. That said, there are teams who believe that under the right circumstances he can be a good fit, teams with strong veteran leadership.
  8. Nobody is out until he's traded. It's all posturing.... "oh you want this?!... pffftttt I'm OUT".... the next day "well, actually we could do this or that....." and the dance continues.
  9. Dell was good with the Sharks, only played 7 games last season in New Jersey.... they might have something here 😬
  10. I wish him well, hope he can stay healthy and reach his potential. He needs to work on interviews tho... his answers always sound like he's talking down to the reporter and correcting them. Just not very genial IMO. Sorry, it just rubs me the wrong way, I'm sure he's a great guy.
  11. Nah... Ullmark can't stay healthy. And I, for one, was never a fan of his post-game attitude, always came off as stand-offish, condescending in his post game pressers...kinda a douche TBH.
  12. HINISTROZA can fly, he's maybe top 10 fastest guys in the league, buzzes all over the ice.
  13. You think any of them wanted to come here? It sucks, but that's the reality.
  14. Hard to blame KA for this one. Ullmark can't stay healthy, $5mil/yr is an overpayment IMO. Sign some old vets until UPL, Levi, or Portillo show they're ready.
  15. sorry, lost power while typing... ...will sign with the Bruins.
  16. I liked McCabe, wish him well. Shame he got injured last season, he was playing the best hockey of his career.
  17. I'll bet John-John ends up somewhere nobody is expecting like OTT, VAN, ARI or CHI.
