  1. Will likely be more.
  2. Peterka > Murray
  3. Do better.
  4. Disagree. Krebs creates offense, he did it last night and looked the part of a top 6 contributor. He's not going to score a ton, but he creates chances and finds open teammates. He looks nearly NHL ready IMO.
  5. Tuch doesn't look comfortable yet, which is fine, he hasn't played in more than 6 months. He'll get better as the season wears on.
  6. 7. walmart Jacob Bryson
  8. The thing about Power is that he makes it look so easy. It doesn't look like he's really trying that hard, the puck just finds him and he always seems to make the right play. There was one pass he had that really stood out to me. He was back pedalling at his own blueline on a regroup and he fires a cross ice laser of a pass right onto the tape of a player existing the offensive zone who quiclky turns back up ice and creates a scoring chance. It's those little plays that you typically only see from seasoned NHL veterans that are routine for him, which as someone who played is more exciting than watching him score 3 goals.
  9. Potentially World Junior gold, Olympic gold, and NCAA champion in the span of 4 months, plus mens a World Championship gold (2021) all before playing a single minute in the NHL.
  10. World Juniors is more entertaining IMO. Won't miss the Olympics.
  11. Can't see any way the Olympics actually happen in this current environment.
  12. Love of the game 👋🏻
  13. He's gonna wear Mogilny's 89 isn't he? 🤔
  14. There's still a few technical deficiencies in his game that need to be worked out and it's best, IMO, for a young goaltender to fine tune his game at the AHL level. That said you ride the hot hand.
  15. Isn't it amazing how much a competent goaltender can energize a team? I've been advocating for KA to send UPL back down ASAP, but sometimes you catch lightning in a bottle. Let it ride!
  16. We need to pump the brakes on expectations. He hasn't played in 6 months, on a new team, coming of shoulder surgery... It'll probably take him the remainder of the season to get back to where he was.
  17. Wasn't this game cancelled?
  18. I thought he wasn't due back for another month?
  19. Trotz's system doesn't create many chances for the offense... they have the fewest shots for in the league at even strength. Last season they were 15th.
  20. He covers the bottom of the net very very well, side-to-side. IIRC, when he was getting lit up in pre-season, they were shooting high glove. Like you said, teams will start scouting him more aggressively now, so we'll have a better idea of how much progress he's made after a few more weeks.
  21. Is insensitive to call a jewish goalie stingy?
  22. Because he can, and it's best for him long term. He goes from being a guy splitting time, HOPING to not screw up... To THE #1 guy, relied on heavily and in a winning environmental.
  23. The solution is simple. Have a group of senior officials review the decisions of the review crew in Toronto and a final executive committee to review the reviews of the senior officials reviewing the reviews of the crew in Toronto reviewing the games in real-time. On ice refs --> Toronto --> Senior officials --> Executive Committee
