The red flag here is the "routine bump" in practice that set of this entire series of events. He had concussion symptoms and couldn't sleep, started dropping weight, etc... just because of a routine bump in practice. That's not good news. Ultimately his conditioned worsened due to a negative reaction to the medication, but he fact that he needed the medication in the first place is a bad sign and bad for his future IMO.

Ha, no that's not me. I tend to agree with his assessment. Too many questions marks to forecast them as a playoff team. If it all comes together, it's possible.

Just 2 years ago the future was supposed guys like Lemieux, Armia, Zadorov, Compher, Petersen, etc... It's pointless to try and forecast a lineup more than one year in advance.

That's nice, but I take Baker's opinions with a grain of salt, he always seems to hype guys up too much focusing too much on their positives and runs a muck with superlatives. That said, I was thrilled they picked him as he was easily BPA. He's going to be a star, but still a lot he needs to work on.
