  1. stop. Shattenkirk ain't happening.
  2. Yeah I guess, but you'd hope after a couple years in the league the kids would start to figure things out on their own.
  3. That's exactly my thoughts as well. He could be a very good 2nd PP guy setup in his usual spot for one-Ts. Scandella - Risto McCabe - BowlU Bogo - Gorges Falk
  4. This is amazing... you made this?
  5. I don't see Pommers in the top 6, he'll be a role guy at best. This isn't the same guy BUF traded a few years back. I agree, he's the type of guy BUF needs to keep around; never understood the must trade Kane now idea.
  6. That's funny because nobody else has, the guy is slow as .
  7. How do you figure? Only the bad stats tho, right? The good stats, like Eichels ppg, are because of the players overcoming Bylsma's attempt to sabotage the team. Am I doing this right? I'm glad Foligno is gone, he sucked, he's not NHL caliber IMO. Sad to see Ennis go, thought he was primed was a big season.
  8. Scandella and Pominville were a combine 0 +/-, Scandella a -2, Pominville a +2. Ennis and Foligno were a combined -11. Scandella/Pommer have a team relative +/- of -10. Ennis/Foligno have a team relative +/- of -2. It's clear who the winner is in this deal.
  9. I prefer Fitzgerald over Borgen due to his pedigree... and playing in a tougher conference. Borgen also doesn't seem to have the same love for the game that Fitzgerald has.
  10. Shattenkirk is not signing with BUF. He's just using Pegula to drive up his asking price.... we all know this right?
  11. Thanks to GMTM.
  12. Well... duh! There's also the chance he gets hurt again and loses out on potential money.
  13. Translation... Shattenkirk is using BUF to up the bidding.
  14. Marner and Nylander maybe.... but Matthews? He's in his prime right now, this is the best Matthews we'll ever see.
  15. Paul Hamilton. Why is this guy still around? Is this purely conjecture based on Eichel being a proud athlete? Of course Eichel thinks he's as good as McDavid, or better, it's a character trait all great athletes posses, it's what makes them great. But to assume he's going to pass on a potential deal this summer based simply on that logic is a stretch.
  16. This is why COL took a pass on signing him.... and I'm sure it's scaring off other suitors. That said, I still think he'd be a fine addition in Roch, he's a smart player with leadership skills.
  17. He's undersized, doesn't skate well, but has high hockey IQ.
  18. I think he'd be good for Roch.
  19. Immediate upgrade on the bottom 6. We've talked about improving the bottom 6... well, at least I have anyway... in order for this team to take the next step, they need to cut down on shot attempts against. They need better defensive minded buys on the bottom 6 who know how to defend in their own end, block shots, take away passing lanes, generate turnovers. The existing group are top 6 leftovers from the tank years. A guy like Boyle would be perfect to offload ROR minutes on the PK, defensive zone draws, late game situational stuff, etc...
  20. mcca.. moulson
  21. huh? didn't the Vesey thing drag out until August?
  22. The more I think about it... the defense probably produces more points, but the forwards will produce less. Could see a step down in production for guys like ROR and Eichel. Everybody OK with that?
