  1. My recommendations would be to leave the black widows. We have a ton of them around our house (mostly brown widows), they're harmless.... and keep the cricket population in check. I wouldn't waste money on an exterminator, if you're really concerned about it, just pickup some Home Defense spray and treat the outside perimeter of your house.... nbd. Save a couple hundred bucks.
  2. It's a cycle. The league moves to smaller/faster..... tips just a bit too far in that direction such that a big physical team has some success and the league trends back the other way... wash, rinse, repeat.
  3. Yeah, it would make perfect sense, which is why I'm not feeling very optimistic as he would've picked BUF already if the above were true. I still say NJD because it's definitely his best chance to play in the show this season... their depth chart on D is horrendous.
  4. I can guarantee I'm gonna be a cellar dweller in the upper first class privileged elitist league :P , can I do both? Also, is anybody doing a survivor league? I've organized a $$ survivor league the last bunch of years, I can set something up on Yahoo! if there's any interest... LMK.

  6. Prolly bigger veteran guys like Getzlaf, Benn, Carter, Hossa, Moulson, Lucic, Kesler, etc...
  7. BUF is at 44 contracts btw. some UFAs... Wideman Jagr Stafford Vanek ...I'd look at guys like Mitchell and Winnik.
  8. May Day mother !
  9. ha, which is why he'll prolly sign with NJ.
  10. Sorry, but I see only 5 winnable games in Oct.... 10 points in 12 games. Maybe squeak out an OT point here or there to get to 11 or 12, but it's a rough start.... new system, new players, west coast road trip. W: @NYI, NJD, @VGK, VAN, DET L: MTL, @SJS, @LAK, @ANA, @BOS, @CBJ, SJS
  11. My money is on NJ. Believe it or not, the Knights actually have a log jam at D.
  12. He reminds me of a young Rich Gannon.
  13. I expect a very very poor start. They'll struggle to keep the goals against down because of Housley's firewagon system. Lehner will be exposed as they'll give up 5-6 breakaways a game. Johnson will take over sometime late October, and they'll start winning some games. Overall an up and down season while they adjust to the new system, missing the playoffs by a dozen points or more.
  14. 26 - Plante 27 - May 28 - Audette 29 - Tsygurov 30 - Barrasso

  17. They all had a "C" on their jersey. Bergeron was a +12 Toews a +27 Kopitar was a +74 TRpm They made the All-Pro team and played in the pro-bowl. Toews won the dunk contest and they all made the World Series, Bergeron with a 3 rushing touchdowns and 4 triple doubles.

  20. had 4 pairs of sunglasses got a very clear view here in southern Cal (65%). it wasn't dark, but strange lighting seemed like the sun was at half power
  21. They are better. What has Eichel done really? There's no doubt he's ranked poorly because of his injury last season. We all know what he's capable of, but can he do it consistently over the course of an entire season, multiple seasons, get his team to the playoffs, etc..? IMO the answer is yes, but he needs to do it.
  22. wow. a bunch of Bison's memories triggered
  23. Just seems strange for pro sports. And what's in the bag? And why would he carry it in an airport? So many questions, and we don't really even know if that was him or not.
  24. why would they give him swag?
