  1. I don’t think there are roster limits after the trade deadline. Since the salary cap isn’t an issue, I think they can all be here.
  2. I believe this is true, but there’s a big caveat. If he signs an ATO for this season, then I believe his ELC won’t kick in until next year. That is not in Levi’s best interest…burning a year off his ELC is.
  3. Which means the Sabres need to win ten out of their last 15 games (to get to 92 points).
  4. Short answer is he’s Devon Levi, but ready for #1 duty today. Richter award winner/outstanding in college. Seasoned two years in the NHL with great numbers on a great team I am sure he wants to be #1 and Ullmark is in the way. He’s 1B at best and Boston will need to rebuild in his prime. Being on the B’s helps his numbers the last two years, but my original reasons why this is an attractive spot stand.
  5. What if the Sabres threw an offer sheet at Swayman? The cupboard is stocked to make a move like this. The cost is the cost. Boston would have a hard time committing something like 3.5M to their backup goalie position. G1 Swayman and G2 UPL for the next 82. Comrie can clean and dry their equipment. G1 Swayman and G2 Levi for the 82 after that. UPL can be moved before the season to recoup some of the spent assets on Swayman. Best in the crease after that. I think a top five goal scoring team with two cornerstone D for the next decade would be pretty attractive to a goalie.
  6. JFC. F me! Leafs misery is so pretty to look at 😍
  7. I can read those lips and it makes me so happy 🤣
  8. I think it is the college kids and the reason is 80’s goaltending (and more defensive structured play of today). The winningest goalie of the decade is Mike Liut. His GAA was 3.51 and his save percentage was .883. As a matter of fact, no one who played the majority of their career in the 80’s had a save percentage at or above .900. Patrick Roy was close (.898).
  9. Anderson will be terrific. Sabres win. And @Sidc3000 will get suspended again for no reason at all. 😉 should be fun!
  10. Anyone have a suggestion where I can find a wild card points projection needed to make the playoffs? I know a rule of thumb, but I’m wondering if any stats folks have a likely number based on each team’s current pts/games remaining/strength of schedule/etc.
  11. Weird place to hold your confidence, but sure I guess
  12. I’m sure they’re simply not trying and their whole goal is to let you down.
  13. https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/35813912/jim-boeheim-syracuse-greatest-moments-career-ncaa-basketball 47 years as the head coach. Syracuse basketball wouldn’t be what it is without him. Great memories. Hall of Famer. National Champion.
  14. Anyone who wants to touch another person without their permission. It just isn’t worth it. There are no winners here. Not calling you out as an individual poster on this board.
  15. Why are grown azz men touching each other? Why isn’t conflict resolution a point of emphasis? A physical altercation should be a fight or flight only response. Grow up.
  16. Vyacheslav Kozlov
  17. I was going to pay for ESPN+ today if the Sabres went with Comrie. So since it is UPL, I’ll check the app and watch Drive To Survive. I can’t explain why I have such a disdain for signing up for ESPN+. I think it is just because we pay so much money for Spectrum cable. I can afford it, but I can’t bring myself to do it. I could 🏴‍☠️, but I’m not watching on my phone…ya know? Go Sabres. I’ll be reading this thread from top to bottom later tonight, so make it spicy!!
  18. I know PSE owns the building and financed the development. But do they operate the hotel itself? I doubt it. This article indicates it is operated by the Shaner Hotel Group. https://www.myinspiredesign.com/grand-opening-set-for-shaner-managed-marriott-harborcenter/ I agree that it seems a little tone deaf, but I don’t know if PSE should be dying by the blade here.
  19. Mike being a jerk to an eight year old to spare her from hearing him be an unprofessional jerk is a hell of a defense for his behavior.
  20. At the end of the second period after the late Sabres goal, Corey Perry slammed the bench door hard twice right next to me (seated at row two next to the bench and hallway. He was so pissed. He DEFINITELY heard me yell, “slam it again, Corey!” It made my heart happy to see how frustrated the champs were.
  21. Poll complete. Three headed monster. Comrie the hottest hand at the moment. It also seems like most of us have the least confidence in UPL right now.
