There 8s plenty to come here for.

Tyrod is gone. That is and has been a certainty. Smith isn't something to build around. Age and career progression aren't what Buffalo is looking for nor what we need. I firmly believe Buffalo is going after Kirk Cousins. The reasoning is simplistic. The team has holes to fill. Why trade up costing a high draft pick when you can use those picks to better the team immediately WHILE UTILIZING the free agent market to upgrade at QB. I believe adding a fast outside receiver to stretch the field and a tight end that can run the seam with hands. For WR @ 21 OA Coutland Sutton If he's gone ILB Roquan Smith For TE @ 22 OA Mark Andrews. Since the picks are back to back they're interchangeable to me in any event. But if we can sign Cousins and land Sutton and Andrews, I'd be very pleased.
-
Thank you. Sign a QB in the off season (Cousins). Draft a TE and a WR at 21 and 22. Draft an OG and DT at 53 and 56. Pick up an OLB in the 3rd rd.
-
So where do the 2 draft positions end up?
-
Agreed Nylander just needs time. Or, he could spend the off season training with his brother.
-
WOW! So, Russ Brandon is Larry Quinn, Rob Ray is a corporate Sabres schill and the team is doomed to a 17+ year playoff drought, all while Terry slips to a side door a la the governor of Texas (Charles Durning) in the best little house in Texas.......that's what I got after reading this page.

Top shelf where momma hides the 36" double d o n g multi speed swirley tip vibrator

But House can rebuild him, he has the techno......., yea, he's a Bots mistake all day long. Not even an 8/9 d man. Send him to Cinci.

I agree. I wo6ld pick up Duclaire though. Couldn't possibly be worse than what we have on lines 3 and 4 RW? Could he? I know he and Domi on a line with Reinhart had success at the wjc, putting Domi aside for a moment, and can't help but wonder what a line centered by Reinhat with Duclaire and CJ Smith on the wings could do.increase scoring maybe? I don't know, just thinking out loud, but like you said, selling low, which I'm speculating Duclaire is.

We have a 7 day window coming up. Wonder of that's when we start to see some movement
-
What about Olofsson, Budik and Hagel? And Connor Hurley (sitting out his transfer year), What's to become of him?
-
It is time for Bots to do his job and start fixing this mess.
-
Need to move some players. And honestly, the coach needs to get nasty.

What Should The Sabres Goals Be For The Rest of The Season?

Our window to climb in to the playoffs begins next season. Debating this season is over imo. And I'm sure many agree. What's needed now is directional leadership, on the ice yes, but more importantly, at the top. The GM. When I hear O'Reilly directly stating he doesn't know why he's playing sub par and has no answers, that's a problem, a much bigger problem than just production. That's a leadership problem, this team needs vet leaders and it's more than clear ROR, Pommers, Okposo aren't it. I use ROR to target OEL or Domi and Duclair in some sort of package swap. Arizona is bursting with wingers, they need a high caliber center, ROR is primed for a deal like this. OEL would be my primary target though. I move Kane to Pitt if possible, if not, both Vancouver and Calgary offer inviting trade partner targets. I want Neal in the off season. Yes he's just crested 30, but he's an on ice leader and warrior in Vegas. Just some rambling thoughts.....
-
Is he worth 7.5 a season? No His value however, as a center that is tops in face off wins is heavily sought after. There are more than several teams who would pay handsomely for ROR. Would I move him as quickly as possible? Yes To where or who? Would prefer western conference. I would target Arizona, Vancouver or Calgary as primary trade partners, in that order.
-
There is little doubt JR must act, or risk losing a competitive run. A center and a winger? For scoring? Kane (50% retained) Girgs or Larsson Pouliet Baptiste Sprong the 1st, Hagelin (cap dump) and Cole.

Global Warming? Never heard of it......

Sports doesn't belong in polotics. Politics don't belong in sports. One is entertainment value, the other is a very serious subject matter. After all, in the course of my lifetime (47 years), I've truly enjoyed the improv standup routines of Reagan (definitely the last of the clean comedy from the greatest generation), Clinton (how could you not love the "I did not have sex with that woman" skit), Both Bush's fell like a dry Dennis Miller routine, the audiences sat speechless either trying to read lips or throwing the occasional slipper at them. Obama, yea, he had that improv mojo, but you just knew like the rest of them, His stories had the same "you know I'm just bullshitting" closing one liners. Then there's this walking cheeto as some call him. Not a fan of his stage entrance and opening act, but, his material has actually surprised me. I'll give him a pass until the closing act. On a side note, he's definitely tapped into a new online audience like no one I've seen before. If nothing else. Now, on to the serious subjects, for us here in Buffalo It's hockey and football ........so how bout them Bills eh.....

Yes, yes I do need to hear from Terry about that 2.5 million dollar retirement loan I wrote to him about, 27 times. Hey Terry, I'd like to retire, where's my money?

I tend to agree
