I do not see them winning 1 game on this road trip. Given the lack of urgency in this roster to even play organized hockey at this point I believe we are witnessing the start of the Sabres annual Nov/Dec 10+ game losing streak.

Passing, shooting accuracy, choosing to shoot, choosing when to shoot, they are extremely bad at many things.

Just by the way they’re playing you can tell we aren’t getting another goal.

This is an organizational failure. I mean honestly, wtf do they do during shooting practice, hold ritual bloopers competitions? It’s mind boggling, simply mind boggling just how bad they are at accuracy, deciding when to shoot.

I can’t fault Ruff for this. These guys have repeatedly shown they can’t shoot. Literally, they fan on shots, accuracy is wretched.

What difference does any of it make. Adams isn’t trading anyone, whether that’s Pegula telling him he can make no moves or not is irrelevant at this point. This management team simply is unable to get anything done. I reflect back to that statement “the answer is in this room”. There is no help coming, no hope. The only constant I see is that the answer is not in that room. And I find myself asking, how long can this actually go on for?

I mean, I don’t know what to say honestly Sidc, losing 10+ in a row, 18 in a row one season, is not merely a gauge, it’s an air raid siren with giant rotating red strobe lights to boot.

While this is true, it doesn’t change the blown opportunities last night. They were in those lanes, with wide open nets. And it’s not the first game this has happened.

If the Sabres shooters could hit the broadside of a barn it could have easily been a 6 or 7 to 5 Sabres victory. At least 4 open nets were shot right in to the goalie or, worse, wide or high, a common trademark of Sabres shooters as of late.

They’ve so far avoided their annual mid/late November 10+ game losing streak. Which, as I pointed out, has become an annual event.

Was very hopeful they were turning a corner. very poor performance overall, from everyone. Teams will have games like this, the Jets just had one against us, and ya know what they did? They held a closed door players only meeting where veteran guys like Lowery went off on the roster about its performance, telling them, not asking them mind you, but telling them to hold themselves to a higher accountability. what did the Sabres do after this game? Nothing, that’s what. They accepted that performance as acceptable and moved on to the next. That’s a problem.
