Talbot has quietly been pretty good for them. And I'd take Klefbom in a heartbeat. But you're right, their wingers are pretty sad. McDavid carries that offense. He'd get my vote. And Eichel has been better over the last month. So that's good company :)

It's been a long time coming, but slowly getting more and more active. My goal is to be 100% by June. I'll be going to Hawaii on my honeymoon, and I have no intention of sitting on the beach more than an hour or two per day. I want to go hiking, snorkeling, climb up a volcano, ride the zip line, etc. I don't think this injury will stop me from doing any of that as long as I don't hit any setbacks. Now when it comes to being in "wedding shape" like I was hoping... That's another story :P

I'll be at this one, boys. Fully expecting a loss, but hoping Jack does some spectacular things.

Columbus broadcast was showing Jack some major love tonight. I tuned in while waiting for the Sabres to start. They called him generational and said that it would be a great draw Friday with him in town. They mentioned his point streak and how it's the current longest.

Kane has taken 28 minor penalties, which ranks him 7th in the league. His PIM are pumped up a little by 3 misconducts that got him 10 minutes a piece. Then he's had 1 fighting major. So 93 minutes is high, but in reality he's left the Sabres short handed for 56 minutes. Still bad, for sure. But not quite as astounding. Players with more minor penalties: Byfuglien, Malkin, Phaneuf, Tkachuk, Marchand, Ekblad, Zadorov (tied) My math seems to be off by 2 when added up. I don't recall, but maybe he had a double minor high stick that accounts for the missing 2. Sortable stats aren't the easiest on mobile, especially on ESPN's lousy interface. But you get the gist.

Sorry, it's a fantasy stat that isn't used much in real NHL talk. Given the Sabres' lack of short handed goals and the fact that Jack and Sam don't get PK time, it's essentially just power play points.

Kind of cool: Jack: 15 G, 25 A, -7 +/-, 8 PIM, 16 STP Sam: 15 G, 25 A, -7 +/-, 8 PIM, 17 STP Of course, Sam has played 62 games to Jack's 43.

I won't speak for Ducky, but I would mostly blame the guys that make a 6x4 look like a soccer net. They've got a sub-.900 save % as a team. Top 10 in the league in goals for, but only Dallas has allowed more goals against. They've got a young D, and Buff is basically a forward back there. But I don't think their defensive corps are as bad as the goalies make them look.
