  1. She's very attractive. And a second on the moist word, not sure why, but if used I get the evil eye.
  2. GMTM said this year will be better, but not THAT much better. Don't look for quick fix trades/acquisitions. In order to have long term success like the Black Hawks a team needs to keep the minors/juniors stocked, else one finds them selves in the same mess as the Penguins.
  3. A neat article on goalie equipment through the ages. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/hockey/blackhawks/ct-hockey-goalies-gear-through-the-ages-20150614-htmlstory.html Wonderful way of saying I have no comment.
  4. Agreeing with the reporter gets him no where on the NHL good old boys front. Playing stupid and giving examples that lend credence to the reporters claim actually help the reporter. I'm not sure if it was completely intentional, but it worked to help prove his point.
  5. Not only Girgensons but Ennis as well. He hasn't found the niche in DB style of game.
  6. Risto needs post season success and a few years of it to be considered in that group.
  7. So your trying to say that if they increase ticket prices goal scoring will increase? After the P P slapping from the lottery/draft/ McDavid thing this is not a battle he is getting in the middle of. He can't win this one nor does he need to vent his anger.
  8. ménage à trois
  9. Yukon Cornelius
  10. This article about Larkin and Eichel just makes me ill. http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/2015/12/red_wings_dylan_larkin_sabres.html SOB's are friends. Hang out together. How the hell can a perfectly good deep hated rivalry get started when there is nothing but Bro Love going around. Darn kids today are to nice.
  11. First off, I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! Second, that does the hitch slap an injustice. When hitch slapped the slapper is most assuredly going to leave a mark on the slappie, that did not happen in that patty cake episode.
  12. I didn't even have him in the same city as you. So glad he's working his tail off and making sure those that believed are not disappointed.
  13. Those are pads? I thought they where mattresses.
  14. Which will coincide with teams the Sabres are playing that aren't among the best in the league of goals allowed. Not sure what I believe more/less in, analytics or puck luck.
  15. I'm not sure if he has any kids?
  16. Your preachin to the choir here! I'm watching because I believe the Sabres could very well have that 10-15 pick. The timing for a Gointa replacement type player in his prime couldn't be any better either if DeBrincat comes through.
  17. There's been to much Yiechel-ing lately and I thought a little Samson love was needed. Paul Hamilton was on WGR this morning (sorry they didn't have an audio clip up). I guess Sam and ROR are last of the ice for every practice (I know it's been mentioned here before). They stay out together going through drills and practicing their shots. It has been nicknamed the O'Reilly Practice. I'll summerize Paul.... *my understanding is, because I'm not able to view the O'Reilly practice because I have to be in the locker room, they've been working on their shot. In the past few weeks Samson's shot has become noticeably better....*. It appears as we have the 2 hardest working men in hockey. Time to go over to the Calder Trophy thread and change my vote. Liger was right a few months back. It was to soon to start this thread. But if we listen to Liger all the time we wouldn't have near as much fun!
  18. I don't see DeBrincat moving into top ten even with the OHL scoring lead at the end of the season. The NHL GM's like'm bigger now a days.
  19. Alex DeBrincat is leading the OHL (not sure but maybe the CHL also?) in scoring. He is draft eligible in 2016. Played his rookie season with Conner McDavid and led all rookies for scoring. The fact he's come out this year to lead the league in scoring has shrugged off the ....but he played with McDavid...excuse. He's 5'07' (maybe). So he is not projected to be a very high draft pick because of his size. But some lucky team is going to get a very good hockey player in the later picks of the draft.
  20. That would make two teams on Sunday that are along Lake Erie that beat themselves.
  21. We always substituted Toronto-ins for French Canadians. Of all my winter time outdoor memories (hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, sledding) pond hockey is what I want back. It was my *The Sandlot* of the winter.
  22. The Red Wings last game they lost to the Florida Panthers on Sunday night. Just letting you know we appreciate your effort and time and I actually read your right ups. I will never correct your spelling. Those that live in glass spelling houses shall never correct the misspelled word. I guarenty that, else I am a hyporcrit.
  23. Ground hog day...
  24. But the NHL is so much better with goals, no goals, off sides, foot in crease, goal tender interference no goals, high sticking no goals, foot motion kicking no goals.....
  25. Attendance and TV ratings have been static for a decade. When I watch a little of the games in Brooklyn, NJ, Florida I see a lot of empty seats. The league matched up Sabres games in prime time with Bills games. What other cities where they stupid enough to do that at? But I bet at the end of this year all the number will come back just peachy. Chad Johnson with better than Hasek numbers is a far greater sin than if the NFL changed their rules so Mey Cassle would have Tom Brady numbers. At least the football games would be entertaining because there would be scoring.
