Cool, you answered 99% of my future questions in that post! They way it seems to work in my opinion, is it relieves a lot of stress and responsibility off of the adopting family. It's not a cat or a dog, 1500 lbs of eating machine is a lot of responsibility especially considering they can easily live for 20 plus years. Some one with great intentions gets injured/laid off/chronic disease and they know they can call the rescue shelter to get a helping hand. In truth I think it would be almost impossible to find homes if you didn't work it like that.

What's worse is they just came off an amazing run at the Olympics with a NA head coach and where all into NA hockey. So for the sake of a few , they alienate an entire country/region from getting into NA hockey. Is this just another example of NHL exec's lack of the big picture. The flip side is the NFL. The worst game to have to sit through on the planet, yet they are spending millions to crack the European market by playing games in London. They'd all thought they died and gone to heaven if they had the Zemgus all star vote controversy.

D4rk I have one question... Are you the type of person that loves doing something constructive with your own hands? Whether it's fixing something you own, something of Josie's, or parents, good friends, doesn't matter to you just as long as your day was in your own way fruitful, you will absolutely love home ownership. Because owning home gives you the ability to do something every day to make your world a little better than it was the day before, and exactly as how you guys envision it. It will be your man cave, Josie's art studio room. You can put holes in walls and windows in where you think there should be one because it's yours. But there's a price for this. Hard work, dirty hands, missed social events, and trade off's in the budget for home improvement stuff vs. fun stuff. Other wise you have to be cold and truthful with yourself and look at it strictly as a financial matter. MattPie as out lined that rather well. Good luck.
