I'm sorry, but there isn't some permanent force of nature that has transcended a complete roster and management turnover. The team is just bad. It was poorly constructed for today's NHL, the mix of players is not appropriately complementary, and we drafted poorly for a decade.

You are perfectly entitled to your opinion. That doesn't mean people can't criticize the logic underpinning it.

I agree with both of these. The problem with playing fast vs. skating fast is that it's oftentimes easier to find fast skaters than players with the smarts and hands to play faster than their footspeed would indicate.

Kane checked out with the rest of the team last year, too. Anyway, I'm not trying to denigrate Kane here. It's just really frustrating to me that some players get a stigma about not always trying, when basically every player has ups and downs and there isn't a single player int he league who actually gives 100% every single shift and game for a season. Plus, our perception of effort is heavily biased by production...we see goals/assists/points and infer effort, when more often than not, I think the evidence shows that production ebbs and flows.

If you want a justification for drinking other than wanting to drink, then sure. Otherwise, no.

The one I had was by Victory, so I'd be surprised if it was one of the bad ones...though nobody is perfect. In fairness, however, I'm not a big fan of sour tastes in general.

I was way lower on McCabe than most, and then last year he got me to change my tune. If I had stubbornly stuck with my original opinion, I'd look like a genius!

If Berliner Weisse was the only beer left on the planet, I'd quit drinking cold turkey. I once accidentally took a swig of skunked beer, and I'm honestly not sure it was much worse than the weisse. Are they? I feel like every time I go to buy beer, a different company has a new barrel aged variety.

Lehner has been tanking ever since I picked him up on my fantasy team. Also since Dudacek was pumping his tires. It's one of our faults. McCabe's regression doesn't get talked about enough as part of the problem.

Has there been a Sabres game you haven't felt this way about since, I dunno, early November?
