  1. Sort of like this sentence structure ;)
  2. Much like Bills fans and the Watkins trade, at some point you'll have to get over it. Well, I guess you don't have to, but for your own sanity you probably should :p
  3. Of course, pre-draft rumblings were that Murray was eyeing Samsonov with that pick. On the one hand I understand daydreaming about Boeser playing with Eichel, but on the other hand, there's no reason to assume he'd have been the pick if the Lehner trade didn't happen.
  4. I was actually kinda serious that I like the idea. Maybe not the events that could go on forever, but just having a fan in each "finishable" event would be fun.
  5. I actually really like this idea. Have a fan on each event, with a prize if they complete the event before tomorrow.
  6. I wonder how he'd have fared straight red line to red line. I feel like the turns aren't conducive for this contest given his stride. You were saying ?@!!?!?!!?! :p
  7. Well yea, extension in-hand is a given. Why not? He's a stud.
  8. The Bills made the playoffs.
  9. Besides, we're getting some lottery luck this year.
  10. I would too. I'm just not cheering for it this go 'round.
  11. There is no price too high for a true franchise QB (loosely defined as someone who could be in the HoF). On the other hand, if you pay a king's ransom, you damn well better be right. Getting it wrong would be franchise crippling for the foreseeable future.
  12. Ryan McDonagh is one of the few names I'd accept in an O'Reilly trade.
  13. Me too. Best wishes to him going forward.
  14. My first thought was Benjamin because of the knee. But good call on Tyrod. For his sake, I hope not.
  15. Hot take incoming: good hockey is more fun to watch than bad hockey.
  16. Allen reminds me so much of Joe Flacco. Cannon arm, no touch or accuracy. But he's a tall white dude in the pocket, so somebody is going to take him
  17. I wouldn't call it very finely focused. Kane's hockey sense and shot selection were MAJOR reasons many of us wanted him off Jack's line. On the other hand, plenty of us did want him driving his own line. Hell, I still do. Well, if he decides to un-quit on the team, anyway.
  18. It hasn't even been 3 hours! Gimme some time! :p
  19. Peter Chiarelli is a perfect example of why winning a Cup doesn't mean you know WTF you're doing.
  20. I really don't think the charitable work the team does is even on the same playing field as the team it ices. Put differently, why even treat them as inexorably linked? Having Jack do something awesome for the kid doesn't make the hockey team good....but the inverse is also true in that the team being bad doesn't take away the joy he brought that kid. Why engage in mental gymnastics to try to combine them into one final product?
  21. I just don't understand why there is zero tolerance for his mistakes. I actually liked how they were bringing him along earlier in the year, focusing on sheltering him and playing him more at home than away. I thought it made sense to help with his transition, and it signaled a willingness to work through things over the long haul. But man, I don't know if something changed or if I just completely misread the signal, but there's clearly not a willingness to let him learn through playing.
  22. First mistake, he'll be stapled to the bench. Over/under on his ice time is 10 minutes.
  23. So your position is unfounded conspiracy theories are valid for the NBA, but not the NFL?
  24. 5 D, without question. I honestly think Housley would come out of retirement before playing Antipin again.
