It’s pretty frustrating to watch your team play good enough to win on most nights, and not, because there’s still a lack of forward talent. Meanwhile, the team has a stockpile of defenseman that are being hoarded, for a slew of vague reasons and excuses.

Yeah and I’m sure there’s tons of excuses. Salary caps and whatever else. Let’s just waste another season away, waiting for everything to become perfect.

There is something wrong when you stockpile 27 defenseman knowing help is needed at forward, and do nothing about it since June.

We did. We brought in Sheary and Vesey and whoever else. And drafted Mitts who can’t hit the net in a point blank shot.

The lack of response in these scenarios has been going on since Lucic ran Miller. How long ago was that? I don’t expect a team full of goons in 2019, but I expect a team to care about a teammate who took a cheap hit and respond. In some sort of way. And not in the Drew Stafford pretending to fight Lucic a month later way.
