It's a little different for me because I saw the trailer a couple times before I saw it. It pretty much establishes exactly what's gonna go down. Which, I think speaks to the movie's strength. The pacing is soaked in dramatic irony, and it never once hurts the story that we know more than the main character does.

Nintendo's aggressive disgregard for modern technology and their fans is so offensive. Somehow maybe even more offensive than the xbone and the ps4.

If the team feels it's being under-utilized by the coach, it's going to eventually affect their effort. These guys are human, and they're likely more pissed about the lost season than we are. This is what happens when a coach loses the room.

Have you seen the talent on the Canes and Leafs? We're so much better on paper, yet so so much worse on the ice. It's too significant to be written off as our players not being as good as we thought they were. Especially when every single player acquired from elsewhere's stats have dropped significantly with Bylsma.

It just makes me envious of Canada's awesome anthem. And Canadian patrotism doesn't give me a knee-jerk negative reaction.

It is. You can pretend that the Dan Bylsma doesn't exist or isn't a problem, but he does and is. I'm all for being down on Murray because he hired Bylsma and kept him around too long, but most of the angst is about the D. It would've been nice if Murray pulled off a Fowler trade last summer, but he didn't like the price. Who knows if that was a good move or not? I blame Dan for not putting Kulikov in a position to succeed.

Having great centers means that we can afford to have just acceptable talent in some wing spots. We'll find the Kunitz to Jack's Crosby, or perhaps the Moulson to Jack's Tavares. Dudacek suggested giving Rodriguez a shot with Jack in this dead season to see if there's something there. That would be smart, but Dan's gonna Dan. Bailey, Baptiste, and Fasching will continue to grow. I think it's a very acceptable gamble to count on one of them to step up for top 6 duty next year. Honestly, our forward depth is already in a pretty good spot. I think Dan's system has you underestimating our talent.

That's part of having such an excellent center spine. Also, most teams run a balanced top 9 rather than a skill heavy top 6.

The first two options are an interesting either/or. It obviously depends on if Kane wants to stay here, how much $$ he wants, whether we were able to sign Shattenkirk, etc. I think I'd prefer to trade Kane.

Firing Dan being one of the options is going to skew this poll big time.

Leino scored our first goal that year. We started off beating the Ducks in Helsinki then beat the Kings in Berlin. Luke Adam would have a great 15 games between Vanek and Pommers, leading many (including myself) to annoint him as the top line center we'd been waiting for. Luker made the NHL rookie all star roster and was immediately sent down to Roch after the all star break by abusive coach Lindy Ruff.
