That's a good point, I can see a case for both to be in the same serious trouble, you're adults in the public realm around children. I'm a little harsh on this but I think that it should not be tolerated, I also think thst professional athletes should be held to a higher standard because of their position in the public eye.... But I digress, we both know these things typically are never punished to the extent that they should be. It's a bit different at a bar at midnight (still not acceptable) they should both have fines/jail time for that display and putting others around them in danger because they can't act like adults.

I am hoping that this off-season shows a measured amount of moves made. We have cap space, picks and an actual direction to go. I think we miss, but these games are still very important to the young guys, it's the first taste of even coming close and the games have been ramped up to display that, it will show what it's going to take at a bare minimum to make/succeed in the dance. Maybe they go off and we squeak in, but I think that is a less than 10% chance of happening. I need to see something from KA in the off-season and not just expect to rely on improvement because some players have a birthday, we need some tangible evidence in the form of veteran leadership, grinding physical players and a goalie that can be trusted to mix into our current team.

We would have still had to beat Cincinnati that year, and sure, they make have not been as good as this year... But, they were still a matchup nightmare for us. They went and Beat KC and could have easily beaten us. 13 seconds still sucks but that only got us to the AFC showdown, no guarantee it would have been a super bowl for us.

It just sucks because the Isles were without Barzal, I wish we woulda taken advantage of that.
