  1. Yeahhhh the officials need to be fired for their performance
  2. Yesterday the Bears weren't full on tackling, but at the end of the game, a ton went uncalled. It's annoying to see. They could still win the series without the help of the officials. Even if it was being called correctly, I still think the Amerks lose, but it would at least look a little closer. My biggest issue was the lack of drive to the net. Every time they got into the zone, pushing it to the net was hard work, a lot of big bears standing there, they passed it back and ended up losing control or had a bad angle shot. I didn't see that from Hershey, they were in Subban face. It's a concern I have with the Sabres and it trickles down to the Amerks.
  3. Was there much doubt that Canada would win. They almost always win international tourneys. Granted the scandanavian countries have pushed further a bit, but Canada is always the team to beat.
  4. What a terrible sports day. Amerks choke, Bandits choke and Knights cruising. At least it was beautiful out.
  5. Need some Better officiating tonight. Amerks can turn it on and out skate Hershey, but when it turns into NFL on ice there isn't much you can do. Subban needs to be good Subban as well.
  6. But.... I'll have the torch with me.
  7. I love creme brulee, I bring my torch to work and I'll be torching up some at my desk in the ramekins. I also bring my French press 😂😂 but I look like a homeless man, people don't know what to think.
  8. Take it one step further and make homeade pasta. I love rolling it out in sheets and pressing it. I actually make a dessert lasagna with from scratch pasta sheets and it's layered with homeade chocolate mousse, Ganache and homeade whipped cream (I vary the flavors each time I make it) the pasta is cooked and then layered and it offsets the rich sweetness of it perfectly.
  9. I'm wondering if this rest will help or hurt Florida. Taking an extra week or so off for healing is very very beneficial this time of year, but then there is that "rust" that could form. Surprised that Dallas is clawing back a bit, they didn't look like they had a prayer after game 3
  10. Of course I am
  11. This is close
  12. It looks like boys vs men out there. Hershey just looks huge on TV.
  13. Another penalty... Looked chinsy to me
  14. F*ck Terrible defense Pilut was beat so bad.
  15. Welllll, I can't defend that one as well 😂
  16. Wasn't singling you out, or anyone. Just recall browsing the other Johnson thread and seeing a lot of hate/anger at him in general.
  17. I think that's my issue, it's politics protecting big insurance, with the illusion of personal safety. If they cared about safety, the driving test process would be actually useful 😂😂
  18. Wasn't he dead to the board less than a week ago? How the tide turns.... Group think is a dangerous game.
  19. See, this is where I throw a twist in... If I'm in someone else's car, I put it on if I'm the passenger. It's not my car, so I won't be disrespectful that way.
  20. In my youth I bought a motorcycle from my brother in Indiana, no helmet law in any state but NY. I didn't wear a helmet from South Bend all the way up the 90 until I got to NY state line. Got to NY and pulled off and had to put it on. I still ride, I'm not sure if I'd ride without one now, but if legal, I would probably make quick little trips without a lid. It's a similar argument to the seat belt, in PA "I belive" you don't need a helmet but must wear Eyewear. That makes complete sense. A helmet protects me, but again, if over 18, it should be my call.
  21. This is a more rational take on reasoning. I sometimes wear it, sometimes I'm aloof. I known I've shared that a close friend of mind drowned because he couldn't get the seat belt off and yes this is rare. But it's where my seat belt aversion came from initially. I'm surprised that was censored
  22. If I'm dead? Sure, it could. My argument here isn't if it's smart or not for me to wear it (I know the answer) it's about the enforcement of a law that isn't really for the benefit of anyone but me. I'll make that decision.
  23. His timing for his own career would be perfect with Buffalo "finally" on the upswing
  24. We're all hockey fans here.... Or else we wouldn't be watching other teams playing it out. I don't think it's the most famous, but it may be the most difficult to acquire.... 2 months, needing to win 16 out of a possible 28 games. An intensity that has seen players endure through broken ribs, acl tears and etc.. Let's see a golfer deal with that... Yeah, not so much. My own opinion, it's the most fun trophy to watch get acquired.
