Was gonna fly to Cairo next month but it would have taken 3 days of travel and really wasn't cheap, so I nixed it and booked 9 days in Puerto Rico, dirt cheap airfare and car rental... There's a cool rainforest down there I wanna check out 😂😂

Not more, per se. Different insurance companies reimburse hospitals at a different rate, they are also experts at dodging paying 100% of the estimated cost. Based on charting, etc. For example, Blue cross may pay the hospital/group 500$ for a diagnosis of appendicitis, but for a Medicaid patient, the reimbursement may only be 35$ for the same exact work. But let's say I only chart a physical exam for 5 body sections instead of 6 that they want, now they only will pay 15$ on that same diagnosis because of some missed clicked buttons. If I put in the chart that the patient is R/O Covid due to a fever and belly pain (knowing full well it's from the appendicitis) then it automatically will get fully reimbursed at the max level because of the pandemic. Silly stuff.

Not that I'm aware of, from the beginning in March, hospitals were fully reimbursed for anything Covid related, even if it was just suspicion on the chart or any type of testing. I am unaware or any newer policies, but I've distanced myself from a lot of it over the last couple of months.

It's tough for me sometimes, I can't get to Africa now because of Covid, which has really bummed me out, my kiddos over there can't even get food for daily consumption and it's wearing on me a little. I suppose it just caught me the wrong way on the wrong day.

Vegas and Tampa look pretty dominant, I think that will be a solid match up, ultimately with Tamp winning in 6. I don't know if we'll see another Vegas dud like game 1, and I'm also too hoping the Isles make it a little better of a series.

My medical conference in Costa Rica was Canceled, stupid Covid.... But what makes it awesome.... I found another company that has a conference in Aruba in November, I booked thst along with a beachside apartment and a rental car for a week!

Yes, I went to time Hortons last week and my strap broke as I was putting it on, they had boxes of them and just gave me a new one. Seems wrong that health care workers have to reuse them. The research I've done on masks in general make them a vector of disease after prolonged use, specifically to the wearer.(cloth more than surgical)

I'm with you on this one, many teams have "retooled" on the fly and are doing much better, we just needed some competence from up top, which we still may not have.

Wait, they still have you reusing masks?! That is ridiculously absurd, considering almost every store is offering masks to customers that forgot theirs, or had their straps break.

For whatever reason the NHL thinks 1 game is enough in the playoffs, it's stupid to put more weight on these games than any other.

Who here thinks Reaves should have gotten a game suspension? He did hit the head, but it was with the back of his shoulder and it looked like Motte dodged out of the way of a big hit that Reaves had already lined up. I don't think it was over Malicious, just going for the hit, as he has been all series.

The Isles are playing like the knights did last night, just incredible.
