You guys need to look for the arrow on the gas gauge before you pull up to a pump.

It wasn't a criminal trial. Preponderance of the evidence, not without reasonable doubt.

After Ralph's comments earlier this month about players who don't like the role they've been asked to play, I'm fairly convinced he wasn't going to reward Skinner because Skinner was playing the game he wanted to play, not the one Ralph wanted him to play.

Our office and manufacturing areas are almost fully packed up and shipped out. For sale sign in front of the building this AM. Very soon we’ll be making a move we didn’t want to make.

My wife just went through the process last week. Small town in WNY. 5 days for results. You say you can get results in a couple of hours. Has that been tested? IOW, did you or someone close to you go there and get results that quickly? Or is it just a statement out there? Because supposedly around here we can get results overnight, but the hospital won’t test you without multiple specific symptoms and urgent care is 5 days for results.

Neo, you’re over thinking it. The same request was presented to Woody when it was NY in the crosshairs and he wanted to travel out of NY. Its a pandemic. We’re all missing people that the time is not now to see.

Didn't Mittlestadt slip quite a few spots past his projection in the draft? That would indicate to me that those end of season tournaments are not weighed more heavily than what led up to them.

We heard the same about Evander Kane, and now we are hearing it about Skinner too. I can‘t really nail down the distinction because I’m not at all emotionally invested in it. Congratulations on being my first ignore. That language has no business in adult conversations.

I think you are misreading those folks. I think Dudacek’s read is more accurate. A few folks think he’s not the type of player that they think will help the team win, but acknowledge that he is a top 6 talent. If anything, I think the argument has been that he shouldn’t get 1st line money. Im trying to find a comparable for these people. Maybe not Satan. Roy? Is that the comparison? Talented. Not someone you spend core money on. I don’t know. I don’t hold that view. I want to see a playoff push before I pull that trigger.

Which is an entirely different statement.

That is a weird take. I can’t recall a single instance on this board where someone said Samson isn’t a top 6 player. There are some who think he has soft skills, but top 6 skills. I guess that’s what you het on the internet. You read an opinion you don’t like and your brain sends it to an extreme.

I generally enjoyed Paul's segments on WGR on the rare occasions I could get it. I'll miss his contributions.

I hate that you can't see a user's name history anymore.

I guess I’m a freak too cuz I remembered that as well. Im more amazed he found it in a search here.

? I've seen youtube vids of some somewhat intimidating looking hikes down into the gorge. I wonder if that is a different area.
-
How is the hike down into the gorge? I've wanted to hike down there in the Winter and fish for steelhead. I'm not exactly in good shape. I used to hike some pretty strenuous stuff 25 years and 60lbs ago. I'm wondering how strenuous (or challenging) the hike is.

I don’t think I could keep someone With that in their past in my employ. I get that people change. I get the idea of redemption and second chances. Buy I wouldn’t be able to see that person the same way again after discovering this.
-
I distinctly remember Pegs saying it was his idea and admitting it was the wrong decision.
-
I remember the 2nd bolded as happening.
-
I'm not sure they haven't been involved in many of those small decisions. The more I hear, the more inclined I am to believe that they are micromanaging their hockey experts.
-
We've heard plenty in the last week or so that indicates the Pegulas are very involved in the day to day stuff. And have been since the beginning (thinking of Regier's comments about never having been involved in daily discussions with owners like he was with the Pegulas). It seems likely to me that the Pegulas simply haven't allowed enough free reign of their league suggested hires to get an accurate indication of how good these people may actually be at their jobs.

It must have been awesome to see your daughter after such a long separation.

THat is becoming more widely discussed. Yes, it seems most evidence points to longer time exposure in relatively stagnant air environments as the greatest risk. Office settings sound like super environments for this. But I haven't heard that asymptomatic people aren't contagious. From what I've understood, the insideous part of the disease is the potential for spread by asymptomatic people.

I haven’t seem that claimed anywhere. Link?
