I haven't been able to watch so far so my experience is limited to clips on Twitter. I can hardly hear her. I don't know if it is her tone, pitch, volume, whatever. I got nothing out of her call. This old man with ***** hearing needs some good old fashioned man bass to hear the call.

Crosby was drafted immediately after a lockout season. It was not possible for Pittsburgh to know to ***** the bed the season before. True story, Buffalo ahd the same odds to get the 1st OAL pick as Pittsburgh. One other team too if I remember correctly. And Chicago was being run by an old man that didn't want to pay veterans so he traded them when their contracts came up. He ran the team into the ground being a cheapskate. His son turned that team around when he decided to..... wait for it.... try too win. It's all real easy to find this info if you look a little.

Except Pittsburgh only tanked once and Chicago never lost on purpose.

I’ll also add, the superstar doesn’t need to be a forward. Someone needs to step up and take over a game or a series. Ideally, that responsibility gets shared a bit among the team. I think a Dahlin, Power, or Mule could be that guy in a Cup run as long as the forwards can perform in the clutch when the “superstar” has his moments.

New car smell. Traded in the old Jeep for last years model. Slight upgrade in options. Big upgrade in miles. lol. 1 year of commuting 75 minutes one way to work puts on miles fast. Had the old Jeep 5 years and accumulated 120k miles in that time. Thankfully I’m probably only going to be driving this one about 7k per year. Love me some Sirius XM trial, but I probably won’t spring for the subscription.

I suspect Drury’s reign is responsible for Vanek face and the team crumpling like children when adversity struck. How he led was effective for him and a couple others and forced the kids along, but in no way prepared them for taking over that leadership when he left.

We also gained some depth. We got 2 NHL players back right away and solidified the wing. Gives is the ability to do what we never did quite do with Jack, ice two good scoring lines and even a 3rd when healthy.
