Most of Ted Nolan’s roster.

He’s not even expected to win yet. A Captain isn’t made on calm seas.

I didn’t think it was possible, but I feel dumber for reading the last 2 pages. Now I don’t know how to close the browser window.

I think Zegras is becoming more Jeff Skinner than Jeff Skinner. -
I didn’t realize he was retirement age. I guess that makes me old too.

Ugh. This team needs a little more veteran presence, not a little less. -
They may be mathematically in it well past the trade deadline but they are running out of runway to leapfrog all the teams they need to get in front of. That sentence sounds like I think their fate is already determined. It’s not already determined, but the hill they need to climb is getting steeper every game.

3-4 months ago all the chatter was how the Sabres are set up to be like the Bills and it’s such a great thing. Now the Bills decision makers are idiots and we are destined to mediocrity.

I think they needed to spread the vets around a bit. Going back to that “the nhl is an 85% league” thread, the rooks and 2nd years guys were doing well while the league was at 85%, but I’m fairly certain our kids were at 100%. Seems leading up to the trade deadline, the league is ratcheting up over 85%, the kids may be a little low of fuel, and our kids aren’t having the success they had earlier.

It went without saying.

After 4 concussions, the last about 2 yrs ago, my son has light and sound sensitivities. This may be a game he can actually enjoy.

Is anyone still actually watching this game? Yeesh, glad I had things to do.
-
No. The correct response is still to get an usher or security. Violence to fend off nasty words is just not how society works.
-
Steve Ott was part of that business venture, no?

Oh, come on. If that wasn’t a perfectly forecasted “back in my day” post, I don’t know what would be. Own it you sentimental old fart. 😁

One post after yours apparently. 😂

Another in a long history of poor decisions.

It’s certainly not the way I would handle it, but I don’t necessarily consider it helicopter parenting either. I think that is more a symptom of a spoiled child, and they’ve been around for generations.

I don’t think anyone questions whether he deserves it. Clearly he trolling for conflict. But in the words of Clint Eastwood, deserves got nothing to do with it.
