  1. OEL & their pick for 1st overall I'd do all day, mainly because we already have Eichel and that would give us our Top 2 D going forward.
  2. I would, unsure of Hawks though. Ladd is likely their top target but I wouldn't be surprised if McGinn were 2nd or 3rd on their list.
  3. A player also had a heart attack and soon after died. At the time he was sitting next to the guy on the bench in the KHL.
  4. Laine sheathed his saber at the end, Sabres will get Laine confirmed!
  5. That was hilarious
  6. If Lehner continues on growing as he did, I think this questionable trade may even rival that of the O'Reilly deal. Legwand's cap dump was a blessing in disguise to begin with and Lehner has honestly looked like a true #1 goalie.
  7. Get a scary and fast guy to be on Risto's left and we'll have a nightmarish trio in the D-zone.
  8. No, why bother with releasing a Kraken when you could release the Lehner!
  9. If it did, he'd bite the puck in half, chew, and then shoot the bits back at the shooter.
  10. Haha...... ????
  11. You might be able to get Pacioretty for 3 2nds, Pysyk and Ennis He's a 3 time 30g scorer with 2 years within 3 of hitting 40 It would be rather funny though since we'd of got MTL's last two Cs then. If we can acquire another 1st for this or next year we might be able to use that with 2 2nds + Ennis and Pysyk and that sound not half bad. I'd love having him on Eichel's left.
  12. Mainly because he's my favorite player, and is what made the last two years tolerable. Additionally he's the only winger thus far who has played well with Eichel not name Reinhart and has all the makings of a solid all around player. Not to mention he screams great playoffs player. It might be different if he was horrid all year, but he's seemingly getting better again and I just don't want to see him tear up in the West because of his sheer determination. Honestly I hate trading Ennis as well but at very least he seems slightly off what the team is looking to build towards.
  13. you get the point
  14. I'd be downright furious if they trade Girgs and tempted to honestly demand GMTM fired by any and all means. Unless he literally gets OEL or McDavid for him I want nothing to do with trading him.
  15. I'd never trade Girgs, don't care if its Fowler. He has something few players have in an indomitable will, coupled with skill. Go and draft a Dman, or find one worth Ennis, Larsson and a couple 2nds. Or both, but don't gut the little forward depth we have to get 1 more Dman
  16. Lehner: Good, jury still out but I don't feel robbed anymore Concrete: Awesome, but needs to skate better. Gives up way to many chances on the back end.
  17. Cam Fowler is an American, would love to acquire him. More Americans!!! :P
  18. Yup, a more wholesome character at very least.
  19. How the article talks of Eichel and Reinhart is very similar to how Kane and Toews are typically described.
  20. I'd be torn value wise due to fact it'd be an all in style move and logic goes out the window in that case. The thing is they'd not want to give Theo up since they are likely to lose a Dman due to money since both Lindholm and Vatanen are RFAs while Depres gets a 2.8mil raise.
  21. 4 mil 1 more year, Chicago is up against the cap. Forget the 4th, Legwand(50%) for Bickell and 1st
  22. The first part is true temporarily, the second isn't since there is no assurance people above the minimum wage will get equal or any raise to their wages. Nowhere is it illegal to merely raise prices more than double, cut costs and create a larger profit. The idea the middle class gains from this is only if the ideal scenario plays out where they all get raises while prices stay stagnant. Also the problem you seem to leave out is that prices will rise to make up for any and all losses any industry has. If you double the minimum wage for example, McDonalds isn't going to eat the loss, they'll merely increase the prices of everything over time. Thus creating, essentially, inflation. When that occurs not only are the poorer people hurt but now the other people nearby in wages are hurt too. That is why Socialism doesn't help anyone, it only hurts more to make it more equal.
  23. I think Chicago should look at Legwand, my Dad is a big Hawks fan and says their PK is terrible. He's been in that division most of his career, and could help kill penalties for them. Think Handzus. Plus maybe he could get a Cup then :) I think he certainly deserves one after the solid job he did this year as a vet presence who was frankly a throw in cap dump. Any interest in Andrew Shaw? 24 yrs old, similar to McGinn but with 2 Cup rings. After all Chicago has no hope of retaining him likely What about Legwand for Bickell, 1st, and CBJ 4th Bickell has 1 year after this one, bury him with Moulson, kinda kills the Stamkos idea but it'd certainly make the Amerks pretty good :) More so though we'd get a 1st and if we can pull of McGinn and a 3rd for a 1st too we'd have ammo to get that defenseman we desire.
