  1. Honestly we are cursed, no matter what we do, we lose. 9/10th of bounces go against us, goalies let in softies at inopportune times and sometimes it seems like even the refs are going after us.... Risto x3 God this kid is getting good.
  2. Reinhart and O'Reilly should invite Eichel to their O'Reilly practices, sure seems to be working wonders for those two.
  3. I'd say a little of both, they probably told ROR, if you knock 250k off your Cap Hit cost we'll give your brother a better contract. In this case he's got a 1 way contract instead of a 2-way contract even though he'll likely play few games up with the Sabres. Simultaneously COR isn't half bad himself, and is a solid locker room presence for our young crop of players in Roch. So it was a win-win for both sides. I can honestly see COR being an Amerk a long time, since ROR is down the street, the pay isn't bad, and he gets to be a leader. At least that's how I see it.
  4. Nice game from the 2nd on. Looked like Domi vs Buffalo the rest of the way. Everyone grab your hula hoops, we've got 2 more points!
  5. Risto would get PP time on multiple teams, he's a young stud whom is already better than the majority of defensemen in the NHL. Not quite in the Great or Elite category yet however. If he's your 3/4 D-man you have one hell of a team.
  6. Poor Carlo has a dented trachea! :o
  7. Love that top line, Rhinos and Kane! Best part is that Eichel isn't even on that line which spells good for the future.
  8. Zemgus and our 1st are off limits in my opinion, the team hasn't been anywhere near as deep with Girgs injured. The 1st because the draft is in Buffalo and I'd like to see us use the pick.
  9. #### Harrington, that is disgraceful. Bring it up with him off camera, or with the head of PR, not in the midst of an interview. Not to mention, the coach sort of has a more important job than any beat-reporter. One kinda facilitates the other even existing and is only 1.5 months into a season with a new team.
  10. For all we know its a round shaped gum container or candies.
  11. He actually does well with Peters when KS is off.
  12. To be honest small tweaks are all I want. The primary reason I hate NBA basketball is because it's just continuous scoring with little D. I like hockey games that are 3-2 4-3 not 10-9 because it makes goals deflated in its value.
  13. As did I, I read it as Bylsma sees Girgs as his Jordan Staal-esc player and that without him he loses that lockdown shutdown Center that frees up a top 2 line.
  14. Seriously? They'd need to throw in a pick at least to get the great Cola!
  15. Without a system we are nothing
  16. Upon capture they'd be considered traitors but would receive the proper judicial process. If they are fighting with the enemy then they are enemy combatants and need to be dealt with accordingly.
  17. The third was why I was disappointed, they outplayed SJS in the 3rd thus I was sad to see them not do the same in the OT.
  18. I'm utterly disappointed but at least we got a point. Every point counts in the long run after all.
  19. LBI, that really sucks. At least the Sabres won so you guys could still enjoy that. Get better.
  20. GFJ Sabres! Not only was it fun to watch but Eichel put on a show. There was a play in the third where he found a loose puck and fought off Stamkos to get a shot on. This kid is special! Risto +1 Goal Eichel +1 Goal Franson +1 Goal Foligno +1Goal = WIN!
  21. Gorges-Risto McCabe-Franson Pysyk-Bogo for the first few games then I'd swap Franson and Bogo. Additionally if McCabe continues his trend I'd start having Gorges and him start sharing time with Risto. For instance using McCabe in the offensive zone more often.
  22. I refuse to trade my #1 this year, mainly because of the Draft being in Buffalo
  23. How long did it take us last year to get to 6 wins? 4 Regulation wins?
  24. Miss the guy, after he retires. I hope he visits Buffalo from time to time. In my opinion Ennis's woes are due to him finding his identity on this team. The last two years he was looked on to pretty much carry the offense and had little assistance in doing so. So he'd possess the puck out of necessity since unless Girgs or Moulson were open he had few options he could count on. Suddenly he can pass it to almost anyone, thus he feels required to pass more. He just needs to find that niche between over possessing the puck and trying to force the play too much. Gionta had 17min on the ice, looked far better because of it, he's older so he can't play the bigger minutes anymore but give him 15 or so a game and I think he'll wake up like how he did last year.
