  1. At very least 2 of the 3 injured guys do actually clear out the net front usually. Dahlin has also learned how to dish out some pain behind the net.
  2. When they do the puck gains sentience and avoids Sabre sticks like the plague
  3. Well, we’ve comeback on Chicago from worse; we just need the team to lock it down. Cozens and Thompson are snakebit and Everyone but Dahlin and Power have made enormous gaffes during the game.
  4. How many bloody posts and bounces on rebounds must we deal with before Lady Luck helps us?
  5. I honestly just feel cursed, nothing we do seems to ever work out. The puck actively seems to avoid going in the net for us.
  6. What makes this all the more aggravating is the fact we’ve outplayed and out chances them but nothing we do seems to go in the freaking net and all they do is scramble and the puck always finds its way in.
  7. I hope to god this kid gets some serious lesson after this because this was an atrocious performance.
  8. Our team is cursed to always be injured to a degree that breaks the roster's ability to function at peak performance.
  9. Sabres played alright for the most part; they lost on 2 unlucky bounces into our net and a handful of unlucky bounces offensively. The defense looks paltry without Muel and Joker. Power hasn't looked the same since their injuries. Krebs is a tenacious, great passer, who out right refuses to shoot the puck. Tage is effectively snake bitten with sheer number of posts and near goals he's had this year thus far. Skinner was ok offensively and at least got a goal. MTL's goalie had a horseshoe up his *** with some of his luck tonight. Angry but more at the result than the effort.
  10. You can definitely see the camaraderie amongst the players as well as Tuch's influence on the group.
  11. Bear would fit the idea, since he's still young and thus wouldn't just be a vet eating young player time. (He'd be a young player too)
  12. Age, and finding a player better than Fitz almost automatically would be better than Bryson. They want the young guys to play, not older guys who might be marginally better.
  13. I think the biggest issue with any trade for another Dman is the fact we'd be put in a bad spot once Joki and Muel return. The Sabres want to see what Bryson is and don't want to waive Fitzgerald thus leaving no roster spots open post injury.
  14. Aggravating game with the puck endlessly bouncing away from our guys Quinn’s goal that was disallowed effectively killed them.
  15. Ugh, why do we have so much trouble against this particular team
  16. Vancouver is now 0-5-2 with a grand total of 2 goals scored in the 3rd
  17. A major difference between the 10 game winning streak year and this one is also the combination of how we’ve won and against who. Our lone loss thus far was the President’s Trophy winner and we played with them most of the night. Another difference is the lack over arching success from a singular line pushing us over the line game to game. Skinner and Eichel were on fire with Pominville and Reinhart chipping in. This start has been a combination of Dahlin’s streak and overall play, Tuch reactivating the top line and Cozens + Peterka and Hino forming an effective 2nd line. While the goals are somewhat top heavy the assists are very spread out among almost the entire roster. Lastly our defense and goaltending have been worlds better so far. Dahlin is not only playing great offense but his defensive play has improved greatly since last year. Plus Muel and Bush-Bear give us legit Defensive minded Dmen who also understand how to destroy players on the boards.
  18. I might have to buy a Bruins jersey, I’ve always loved that bear jersey lol
  19. Hate them as I enjoy seeing the local sponsors on the road
  20. The 3rd got rough; I'd love to know how many shots were recorded in the last 5 min as they hammered the puck at Comrie. Dahlin has decided that he's a Top Defenseman and leaving little to discussion. Tage throws the gorilla off his back JJ Peterka is working his way into a possible Calder candidate. Power looked more akin to his 8 game stint than this years first 2 which is a great sign. Comrie gave us a solid if not great game tonight
  21. No matter what, when your tired you can’t magically generate energy regardless of how desperate you are.
  22. Hate losing but this team certainly looks like they have some moxie and nothing intimidates them. Now on to the West Canada trip; let’s beat up Canada again.
  23. He’d been on the ice for 1:30 already
  24. Tage needs to relax a bit, Power will take time to get going, Dahlin looks great besides the occasional blind pass to ghosts
