  1. TLJ was the worst, sorry. It doesn’t tonally fit with the rest of the films and takes a chainsaw to the lord for no good reason. It felt like a movie created by someone who hated Star Wars but wanted to use its characters to push some “agenda” Loved Andor, it’s slower but feels like a war/political drama which works well with Rogue One’s appeal as well. It’s the Star Wars universe but has a different feel than the original 6 movies. Mando is also very fun but after an awesome 1st season felt a bit less character driven than being forced into a box to fit some manner of explaining the Sequel Trilogy. Like why did Luke have to give Grogu an ultimatum? Boba was the weakest of the series which was very disappointing. It had some interesting ideas but turned Boba a bit too soft; he can be a great Antihero without being milk toast or endless rage. Plus while Robert Rodriguez is a very good at creating interesting visuals; he made it far to Spy Kids style for most
  2. I meant Vancouver lol
  3. We seem to have a few newer posters who are literally only here to be negative/troll PA will always be the Anti-Pegula narrative guy while Nill is our resident pessimist. Perrault is our newer version of “I like the Sabres but other teams are more fun for me now” But typically, besides Nill who rarely finds a silver lining in a jewelry store, add something to the conversation. What we have on this thread is 3 guys, 2 with under 150 posts, derailing a discussion with nothingness composed of petty insults, worthless conjecture, and what appears to be a pseudo-conversation about a new user’s name. I don’t want to gatekeep but this is a Sabres forum not a school playground.
  4. Looked like the Sabres gave mercy in the 3rd as their lines seemed to ease off the gas besides when Thompson was out there. UPL somehow found a way to give up 4 Thompson 5 - CBJ 4
  5. Mitts made some nice plays tonight, Olofsson looks like he’s unhappy he isn’t on the gravy train
  6. Typically cold goalies are awful in shoot outs. Additionally the visual of putting in the younger backup to play in shoot outs over your supposed long term starter has very bad connotations.
  7. It does make some sense; the idea being that one you teach players how to play offense at an NHL level that their confidence will carry them through the rougher moments of playing more defensively. Essentially when you start playing defensively; if you're struggling to create offense; you still have the knowledge of how to create the offense and thus you start trying to bridge the gaps.
  8. That’s certainly unusual; who’d they have play goal for them then?
  9. To be honest I don't really think he was an upgrade; there's a reason he's been bounced around and was considered a pure cap circumvent asset based on his buyout.
  10. lTIRetired due to groin and leg injuries He tried to work with Dallas but the NHL said no, seeing as he's under contract technically with the Sabres still.
  11. Well that's where you end up in the Catch-22. You don't want them to develop bad habits but you also need to see them play loose in order to see what you have. It's the enigma that plagues the Sabres and any younger team. A more vet coach is going to want to win every game (to keep their job) and barring the youngster being incredible out of the gate; a vet coach is going to lean heavily on the veteran players regardless if they good or bad. More often than not because vet players tend to be more responsible in their own end, in theory. The Sabres certainly need to improve their defensive coverage but they have to balance that with continuing to have aggressive offensively biased pushes.
  12. Vet coaches are far more likely to not use young players because of their defensive faults and instead play guys like Okposo and GIrgensons as the 2nd line every game.
  13. A legitimately good moral victory; now can someone play goalie please!
  14. Well I’m officially done with Victor and Mitts angry over the blown lead proud of their gutsy PKs
  15. However, how much can you tweak without hurting that connection. After all, to fill holes requires them to removing other players.
  16. Well even had we offered our 3rd, Detroit was a spot higher. I see Sheahan was already leaving the graph before leaving the team
  17. He's literally has got worse every year since his rookie year and looks more porous than Comrie/Anderson and UPL No thanks.
  18. I wonder if we could somehow convince Minnesota to trade Zuccarello for Olofsson?
  19. It’s 1 garbage line and 1 energy line; the JOG line has played fine for a Bot 6 group
