They have 10 draft pics in the upcoming draft... so maybe trade down but there is a couple high end o-line expected to go top 5.. so maybe not. Find a good QB coach and o- line coach.

At this point, it has to be Olofsson and CJ as the first call ups, they play a 200 foot game, Nylander isn't far off and when he puts his mind to it he is a force. Not sure who on D. Borgen needs time, but is nasty... Ghule has to many brain farts and needs to work on passing, Pilut is a great skater, but needs to add some weight, gets blown up to often in his own end. The rest of them meh. Cornell hustles all game and could be a decent 3rd 4th line guy. Kills penalties and throws his body around.

Oh, I can sleep in a pitch black room with no sound... it is wonderful. My work schedule screws up my sleep patterns and having two adolescent boys. I yearn for quiet peace and no noise... can and do sleep like a log when as infrequently as that happens.

Yeh but Wild just pushed the leaver... Travis Jost told everyone where to set the charge... Hoss maybe able to further explain how that charge was set... but the article Wild just linked is definitely a big boom. I always wondered if even that stats were correct. Always seemed to me there was a bit of a hometown bias especially on hits... and SOG varied from place to place as well. QC does not seem to be part of the NHL's strengths.

Wins breed confidence and I like Tage playing with his teamates. He needs to learn to be more physical especially in the corners. He and Nylander kinda have same issue, though from what I saw yesterday of Nyls... he is making a big jump with that skill set... and still keeping his soft hands. A swap of TT for Nyls throught the season might be a good thing.

I dont think the Yotes look faster. I do think at times during the game the Sabres went into a bit of a defensive shell... appears to be afraid to make mistakes against a speedy team. At one point during the second the commentators from Yotes remarked how fast the game was... kinda dozed during the third but that is where I noticed the defensive shell the most. Phil obviously wants wins at this point and makes sense with this young team to go more D with the lead. Just imo.

Two two hour naps since 11p last night... not sure ill be up for game.. but i live on 2 hour naps, was drooling by the end of both... you know when your pillow is wet... not sheets... pillow.. I did say pillow...

Nylander looked better as game goes set up Olli’s goal. Kid could take a hit and Tigers were running at him all game long.
