  1. It’s an appreciating asset. Maybe his goal was just to make money and not win Stanley Cups. Although you could argue the team does any make money, the value of the franchises always goes up.
  2. I’m sure there are some undiagnosed mental conditions, mainly still being a Sabres fan. 😀
  3. The job is in a factory with lots of dangerous equipment. I’m not worried as I’ll be a manger and never really have to stick my face in those machines but I think they screen everyone for liability sake.
  4. That what I’m trying to do. I got my current job while testing high as a kite. My old company wants me back. I’m not certain they care about weed but I can’t blow an opportunity to make an extra $30k because I like to get loose at night. The guy hiring me I’ve known for 30 years. I knew him before my last gig and while he didn’t directly hire me, he had a hand in me getting the job 25 years ago. So I could have a conversation with him trying to get a feel about the screening but I’d like to avoid that whole conversation. It could be embarrassing for both of us. Maybe I should have a talk with him. A couple of my closest friends have told me to be honest with him about it. It should be an easy conversation but I’m not certain that it won’t blow my chances. I think I can delay the hiring process long enough to get the THC out of my system but I quit a couple years ago to get clean for my current job and 5 weeks later I was still positive. I got lucky as they still hired me but I can’t be certain my old company will feel the same way.
  5. Mission accomplished. Pray for everyone else in my life. I have plenty of edibles. I was under the impression that’s going to trip up the weed test as well.
  6. I have. It kinda works but by the time I realize I need it it’s about 3 hours too late. Drinking has been a large part of my life. It’s ruined most of it. I’ll do it until the drug screening then get back on the weed bus.
  7. I picked a bad night to quit smoking weed. Good news is I’m about to get a 40% raise (my old company wants me back, but I think I have to pass a drug screening to get rehired) Bad news is I can’t get to sleep without weed so booze it is.
  8. This team needs to move on from every player on the roster. All gutless pussies. You can’t change a tigers stripes. No one with any passion on the roster.
  9. I won’t defend Granato in any shape or form but at some point the players are also and probably mostly at fault. I hope they do fire Granato just to shut everyone the ***** up. Then make no changes to the lineup and bring it all back next season to be even worse. Please let this happen so we can finally see what the real problem is.
  10. Duh, they’d just fly over the bridge.
  11. The amount of stock that you put in what players say to the media is far too high. It’s meaningless drivel. Everyone wants all this access to the players, they get it, and don’t like what the players have to say.
  12. Still on the roster started a game a week ago.
  13. I don’t see what’s wrong with what he said. Playing at home has been toxic because of how long they sucked at it. They made the bed and now they are sleeping in it. I guess he could have made the generic canned athlete schlock telling the reporters how much they love playing at home, hockey good, Buffalo good, me no good. I think intelligent people realize that gambling is a sham. They don’t build $100 million dollar casinos because the house is losing.
  14. Ratsie in the fold or is it Laffer? 😀
  15. Man is this not gonna be popular. That said, they are back next season regardless.
  16. I am kinda excited to see him again. He is my favorite player.
  17. Like when they got Hawerchuk to take the D off Alex and Patty.
  18. I don’t need the information you require. What’s the benefit of having him play these games? For the fans? A league and an organization that does everything it can to alienate fans and treat them with complete indifference. Or is it a NHLPA thing? He’s healthy so he has to play? Frankly, I’m just bitter about the team. The story could have been Jack Quinn saved a 1000 puppies from certain death and I’d probably still have a problem with it. There is no point to the remainder of the season. I just want it to end.
  19. I don’t need any knowledge surrounding Quinn’s injury to understand that him playing in meaningless games immediately after two consecutive leg issues might not be warranted. I’m sure they are just looking out for their fans here, giving them some juice for the final twirl around the toilet bowl. I guess if he’s good to go, let’s throw him out there so fans can cling to what might be, until it isn’t…
