  1. Quinn would be the natural target. Similar injury history. Both have plenty of upside. Similar ceiling. I’d do it. Maybe swab Rosen for a prospect that’s got some jam.
  2. Yes. We only want players who play 82 games a season, are 1st liners, love Buffalo and only cost a late round draft pick.
  3. Aka players we don’t care about
  4. This is correct. Why the ***** didn’t Kevyn do the same for the Sabres?
  5. Look to be a PP & defensive improvement over JJ while a little less playmaking although I wonder if JJs linemates inflated his apples.
  6. Tischke is a former bottom of the roster D that is more than a willing combatant. Kuntar is obviously former Sabres goalie coach Les Kuntar’s kid. Haven’t seen him play much but his PIMs are rather high.
  7. Kinda seems like Peterka lite but ***** it!
  8. It’s because of the Precysyn incysyn Leschyshyn desyshyn
  9. Defensively stout Mattias Samuelsson?
  10. I bet he suits up for a few Sabresganes this season. Might be a guy who makes sure you can’t take out of the lineup. We’ll see.
  11. He comes from good pedigree. His pops averaged 3 goals a season for 16 years. Dude must have been the booger sugar hook up or something. He’s was considered a defensive forward FWIW. Hard to fathom for someone taken 3rd overall.
  12. With such a common last name, who would have guessed
  13. Fake computer thingy says this: Jake Leschyshyn is a solid, two-way forward known for his strong work ethic and defensive play. He's considered a potential bottom-six NHL player, with some projection to a top-six role, and is strong in his own end. Ok I guess
  14. Just when I thought the team couldn’t get any lower, I listen to Clifton. This team is rotten to its core and it starts from the top. Everyone knows they do not need to be accountable so it’s just mail it in season for everyone involved. Depressing but the story is unfolding and the problem starts at the top.
  15. Beane seem to hit the draft with an ax to grind concerning DT. I think Ogunjobi pissed him off as he didn’t disclose his PED issue. (Hoecht did disclose his issue)
  16. Nothing will incite uncontrollable rage like being married. Maybe this is the year Owen gets that ballyhooed mean streak that fans have been clamoring for.
  17. If the offseason moves are complete, it’s hard to not feel Charlie Browned. We were blood thirsty for an overhaul. Get rid of everyone. I was a part of it. Maybe at the forefront. We should have know once Kevyn was back and Bryson was resigned, the template was set. Trim payroll, give the appearance of forward momentum, give us plebes some hope. We know the drill now. The team is in an endless loop of cost cutting and status quo. It’s just hard to swallow. Well, not for @thorny. 😀
  18. Since I can’t see your posts @Thorny I never meant any hard feelings. My post was directed at WGR and Sabres twitter. It probably didn’t seem that way. Apologies.
  19. No need I stopped caring halfway through my last post. FWIW, I’m usually drunk or high or both when I post. Just ignore my stupid ass and you’ll be fine. As a matter of fact. Put me on ignore. Actually, I’ll do you one better. I’ll put you back on my ignore list.
  20. You may have independently had those ideas. The media has, in concert with your thoughts, pushed their narrative. Honestly, I can’t remember when or where the swap Byram for offense ideology started. It could have been in this forum by you. Hope you feel more respected now. 🤷‍♂️
  21. Hopefully he doesn’t Slide a Long Way Down to find any Black Balloons.
  22. Y’all were told the only successful course of action was trading Byram for offense. Which could still happen. Unfortunately, WGR and Sabres Twitter mandated that it was the only path to success. Now, just like the WR situation with the Bills, things took a turn in a different direction and we are calling it a failure based on predetermined expectations set by outside influences.
