I guess if you ignore the whole PR nightmare aspect of it then fine. My post had nothing to do with wanting Slay on the team.

I just think saying the Sabres need to shoot more accurately is lazy. The problem isn’t the shooters skill set. The Sabres have some of the best shooters on the league. What they need to do is develop better scoring chances so they don’t have to always pick the corners (aka Tuch always “missing the net”). It’s happening because the open looks aren’t there. So he’s left banking pucks off goalie’s backs or missing the net trying to squeeze the puck into a 4 square inch hole.

None of the shooting % stats indicate that shooting is a Sabres issue. They are above average in almost every shooting metric.

Because Terry’s cheap and won’t pay for anyone not employed by the team.

They need to win 5 games to get above .500

Kevyn is too much of a dolt to form an opinion that matters. The reason Levi is in the AHL is because he can be. Adams doesn’t have the brain power to understand that Devon might be their best goalie not to mention Adams isn’t smart enough to promote Levi and make the requisite roster moves to accommodate the transaction.

Goons aren’t the answer. I’m as blood thirsty as the next guy but the Sabres need actual hockey players, like Josh Doan, who can play, hit and fight. Standing up for teammates isn’t foreign or forced for him. It’s what you are taught from juniors on up. Dunne is ok in that regard although his foot speed will always be a handicap. Tuch needs to drop em. Greenway needs to drop em. All the defenseman need to drop em. Maybe not Dahlin due to the minutes he logs and we know Power will get destroyed in any kind of physical confrontation. It’s been proven that goons don’t influence the other teams actions.
