Intrigue ... on ice. What's past is prologue.

Great stuff ...

PA, your observation regarding my language is correct. To editors! He did the wrong math right.

My problem with the article is not that he didn't recognize that he did the math wrong, it's that he didn't recognize that he did the wrong math. Teachers say "show your work" to diagnose just this.

Rick Martin ... ... Gare, Satan ... Perhaps Briere, Dumont, Andreychuk. I'd be curious on the thoughts of others regarding Dumont. Being old gives you memories. Being too old obscures them. Interesting thoughts on Mogilny - among the greatest Sabres of all time, but not a sniper. If he were a sniper, he'd have scored 126 goals in his best season. His feet created goals. No criticism.

I think we can discuss our preference, or not, for faith based business and sports decisions without being snide and condescending. I read the word "obnoxious" in Saratoga's post and concluded it related to tone and respect. I think Saratoga has a point. When the "faith" in "faith based" is Christian, sneering ridicule often goes unchallenged. The same snickering drivel directed toward another faith would be rightly censored. We suffered Raptor Jesus for quite some time. I'm no choir boy. I'm repectful toward those that are.

Add "wears fedoras." As admitted previously, I, too, suffer this affliction on others.

PA was right: the Terry Pegula press conference thread.

PA was right: the Terry Pegula press conference thread.

PA was correct, my quibble with the concepts of 'earn' and 'right' notwithstanding. Dudacek's original post is succinct summary insight. Dudacek's usage and spelling of 'milquetoast' gives me hope that civilization's trajectory is not irreversibly down. -
Such good news. Well earned!

We will be well represented in Ohio. Congratulations for making choices, taking risks, and pursuing happiness!

Many awesomes, here. Kids are essentially independent, so Mrs. Neo and I are on South Beach! I'm tanned, rum runnered, and getting ready for a steak and evening counting Bentleys and Lamborghinis ... I should've been an Oligarch. Why don't my hips move like that?! JJ, are you close by? Is anyone? Pre-Order, here! You are a gift.

I don't know how to do spoilers. I pm'd you the answer.

You, the suggested coach, the gif .... perfect.

"But it helps me remember... I need to remember... Sometimes there's so much beauty in the world, I feel like I can't take it, and my heart is just going to cave in." Ricky Fitts -
You are special.

Post script ... For those unfamiliar with Jackie Gleason: Especially at 1:30 and beyond. This comparison is made with respect and affection. Gleason was a genius.

I shall.

Sometimes someone finds your words for you. Listen, and it's not so very infrequent. Grateful! .... My mind occasionally wonders along the "life imitates art versus art imitates life" continuum. My most recent stroll took place at Gabriel's Gate. I walked with great anticipation into the back room and caught flashes of faces, all alive and animated. Dark! Josie! Eleven?! Before I could say a word, a back arose purposefully and deliberately from a chair and turned to face me. It belonged to a man who just kept rising! I was watching a mountain being born. Tectonics, less than three feet away. Instantly, I was in the grasp of arms that easily wrapped around my not unsubstantial frame and pulled into an irresistible hug. My face was buried in the big man's chest. Two hands grabbed my shoulders and didn't let go while two arms pushed me a great arm's length away, allowing me to see a face. I had no words. "Neo! It's Ghost!" Out of context, and unsuspecting, I stared back blankly. "Drane", he offered more. I'm sure GoDD saw the dawn of awareness in my eyes and across my face. I hugged him back, with great sincerity. I watched and listened to him for another hour. His posts were always provocative, of course. They commanded attention. No one described physicality better than GoDD, whether he was describing race horses, hockey players, or college football players. "He turns his hips fluidly and suffers no loss of speed'" he'd write. "Look at his film at Clemson" would be followed by convincing references to arm length, leverage, and torso. Physicality in words. Well, that same physicality describes GoDD in real life. His face, arms and hands all talk in concert with his mouth. Eyes wide, voice rising and falling, arms extending and retracting, hands pivoting like great paddles or rudders; he moves. I was reminded of the great Jackie Gleason. GoDD is several shows at once. A circus with only one ring, but three performers. Focus on any one show and you miss two. Take all of him in from a modest distance and he's overwhelming. His expression is as powerful as the ideas behind it. GoDD's posts were pure Warner Bros. Tasmanian Devil. Oscar Wilde was right. To the provocateurs! I miss GoDD. Of course, I never had to clean up after him.

Great to be here. I've read every day!

Woody's not a doctor. He's a Hollywood Hunk who plays a doctor on tv. -

The path that is life offers and arranges events, chronologies, and attendant anticipation. The magnitude varies with personal circumstances. I looked forward to last night greatly with my kids, my team, and my unknown friends all coming together. It was to be a big night. The night lived up to its billing. Events become memories in the blink of an eye. Last night is and will remain a fine, fine, memory. I had a blast. Many of you have most of your lives in the windshield. Most of mine is in the rear view mirror. I think rear views are especially poignant. They're informed. I know last night was special. Some of the younger will learn that over time. MODO, I'm speechless. Your trip is a gift to us all. It was wonderful to see you all for the first time. Here's to the first ANNUAL SabreSpace meetup. Grateful to the arrangers. Ah, SabreSpace!
