We will now see complaints against an obstructionist Congress, not doing its job, morph into complaints about a rubber stamping Congress, again not doing its job. I will believe Congress did its job both times.

He has his policy views just as deplorable to the other side. Your arguement works for "I'm right, he's wrong". It fails for "no leader shares all my views, but civilization works better with respect." I'd not boo either at a social event with families involved. I give no pass to the examples you site in light of the hundreds of others. They're your lines in the sand. Had deplorables at NASCAR treated Obama the same way, in light of their lines in the sand, I'd be just as embarrassed. You can disagree with policy and view. I hold philosophical opponents to the same standard of behavior. You don't get a vote with regard to my pseudo. I don't get one with regard to yours. Neither of us has any idea with regard to the other. I'm aware that we don't and take posters at their word. Your link is to obscene behavior, most sincere, deeply felt, and genuine. My embarrassment for the theater goers is also most sincere, deeply felt, and genuine. Your pseudo meter's on the fritz.

The FBI's controlled by right wing fanatics? Obama and Lynch? Who? The FBI soiled itself twice. The right wing's clean on that one.

I'll consider responses to Pence at a Manhattan theater with hypothetical similar treatment of Obama at a NASCAR event and look for equal evaluations of the audience.

I don't follow. PC is the fear of words, among other things. That doesn't rule out decorum. Apples, oranges. I'll be clear. I am anti PC. I call on all of my friends to speak truth and not fear words. If you scream at human beings in a theater, or lecture from a stage, you're a nincompoop. I will call anti PC and anti decorum false equivalencies.

Ah, JFK ... "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." Imagine that being the message ... used to be, used to be ... not that long ago. I was a Democrat. Human decency and respect are real stories. Just sayin' ... Imagine the wadded knickers and chants of racism had a NASCAR crowd done the same to Obama. Irredeemable deplorables!

I am embarrassed for the cast and audience at Broadway's "Hamilton". Cue the "they have every right .." cries of the inevitable and irrelevant non sequitur. Well, duh. Donald Trump's my President Elect. Barack Obama is my President. In this country, I have a duty, too. I'm too busy to wet myself and too accountable to abandon my responsibilities. There were those who claimed it bordered on lunacy.

If I win the lottery, I'm going to offer you the Director of Lifestyle position on my staff.

Tank ... deliberate. Bad ... unavoidable.

Awesome ... registries!

Obscene, because it's based on thought, belief, faith. Worse, in that regard, than other government registries that I oppose - think guns and no-fly lists.

Yikes, MY ERROR! I read too fast. I thought you meant the street protests of today when you said "Dem protests" were like Tea Party events. Unforced error, Neo. You did not. Carry on ...
-
Did you ever attend a Tea Party event? I'm glad you brought this up! Nothing like, indeed. I believe your sentence is correct, but not for the reason you intended.

It's Bush's fault.

Good add. I agree that I subject change first to a general reluctance and look for evidence. We all probably make that claim. I am further constrained by a more reluctant attitude toward forcing change on those who do not want it. This is not the case, I hope it's not necessary to say, with regard to forcing change on those who would deny freedoms and rights to others. Civil rights laws were necessary. My due diligence is thorough. My pace is slow and deliberate. I believe babies inhabit bath water. I'm conservative. Your view equals mine.

Franson lacks retrieval speed for chip and chase. I do like Gionta clearing the crease.

I'm not disagreeing. Using the word Progressive to unwind would be using the word differently than I do. I don't use the word that way. Regressive is a word I'm not yet settled on. Regressive Progressive, progressive conservative are two phrases that confuse me. I agree with your point, but am unclear if you were referring to my use of those words, or the use of those words in general. Web post challenge 11d: did you reply to my post to add your post to mine, or to challenge my post. Both are FINE reasons. Clarity, no debate. My use isn't better or worse. My definitions are provided as a decipher ring for my posts. I use context to respectfully understand the use of words by others in world of unsettled vocabulary. It's all I can do! I'm thinking, for my writing: liberal: a philosophy of respect and tolerance toward the views of others Progressive: an approach to policy and government conservative: a philosophy of respect and tolerance toward the views of others Regressive: an approach to policy and government My fun would be then discussing whether or not "Progressive" and "Regressive" really are what we claim them to be. Is it progressive to enact policy in the wrong direction? Is it regressive to roll back same? "Neo makes me want to throw things" thought for the day: I gravitated to conservatism during my lifetime because I find it far more liberal and tolerant than other philosophies.

I'm down nearly 1,100. For that, I'd get complimentary drinks and a breakfast buffet and tell everyone about the free stuff! FREE!

I'm contemplating Vice President Pence from 30,000 feet. At this level, my ideas can be ephemeral. That's half the fun. I'm not aware of a President who's needed his VP for political success more than Trump needs Pence. Pence knows how the machine works procedurally. Trump has no idea. Pence knows how human coalitions are cobbled together. Trump knows only how human assets are deployed. Pence knows how co-equal and necessary branches of government work in tandem. Trump doesn't know what co-equal means. Pence may have leverage in forming an agenda to an extent that exceeds others in the same role. More to come, perhaps, as time passes ...

@945 with Hank's correction. Niiiiiice.

Intercourse and family style should not appear in the same post.

To diversity, and the great expanse of America and its citizens. Shop quick, though, before the conformity of the majority extinguishes that diversity. Soon, the Amish will retreat to Kansas. Unless, of course, the Electoral College continues to give them a voice. I hear they're soft spoken. I wonder if Walmart sells Shoo-Fly pie in San Francisco?

I shall declare MattPie an authority on Shoo-FlyPie ... and google, once again.
