off topic What I do to reduce my environmental footprint...

Yeah, d4rk has hand. And he's gonna need it. -
My apologies for any confusion. Although I've read the books, I am speculating only in terms of the television show. The characters and story lines on the show have been so combined, altered, shortened, changed, ignored etc. etc., that I hardly think of them as the same story anymore.

I don't think LIndzen's research has been dismissed out of hand by the scientific community; it has legitimate holes that have been scrutinized by scientists just as qualified around the world. And I understand the urge many of us have to glamorize the underdog and the less accepted view in the face of an overwhelming majority. I get the impression Lindzen has found a nice and hugely rewarding niche in an audience that wants to hear a certain thing. -

I don't know if he's a tool or not, but I'm suspicious by nature and when you click on the links of those sights that post the 3% studies, etc, it's usually a short walk to some big player in the energy industry. It's uncanny. -
I suspect Bran holds powers that Blood Raven doesn't possess. And Blood Raven knows it. I think Bran is going to be needed in ways Blood Raven never was when it comes to the war that's coming.

One of the 3% of climate-scientists worldwide who aren't on board. A senior fellow at the CATO Institute. Where do they get their funding again? No doubt early research is often decried and then accepted later on. When it comes to climate study worldwide, however, the paradigm shift has already occurred. -
I like considering what it may mean because Bran hasn't influenced past events...yet.

There are 197 international scientific organizations who have reached the same conclusions independently. Are they all cooking their books, too? Meanwhile, the science cited by deniers is funded by the very industry that stands to lose the most. It's uncanny. Stands to reason there was a high level of green house gas in pre-historic times given the volcanic activity at the time. And that was WITH high vegetation growth. But we can't cite volcanic activity today and we only have a fraction of the vegetation to mitigate co2 levels. My favorite example of deniers is Florida, where the governor has made it official policy that you can't even mention the terms "global warming" or "climate change" and yet they are in the midst of spending billions to mitigate an expected rise in sea levels. Why is that, I wonder? -
Anyone else intrigued by Bran calling out to the young Eddard as he ascended the steps of the Tower of Joy and Eddard pausing, as if he heard something? I think Bran is gonna be flashing some mad skills down the road.

Yes. Which is why their decision on how to designate him is important. If he is PUP after the preseason, he must miss a mandatory six games. There's a good chance they will carry him on the active roster depending on how the IR is shaking out at that point. GO BILLS!!!

I studied a broad once, too. And she was Italian! Small world.

Wait, are you talking about the possibility of the republican leadership that just spent the better part of a year condemning Trump at every opportunity would all of a sudden turn the other cheek and support him? Are you talking about republican leadership putting their principles on the back burner in the name of political expediency? The republican leadership would never do any such thing.

Look, it's a another nit! GO SABRES!!!

Something tells me Murray doesn't give a phuck about trading the pick, regardless where the draft is held. And rightfully so. GO SABRES!!!
-
Not nonsense at all. I gave the Penguins all the credit in the world. But from the Caps' perspective, this is an epic failure. Perhaps you need an explanation of the phrase, "Taking nothing away from the Penguins." GO SABRES!!!
-
I think Murray may end up trading the pick for a top pair D man. GO SABRES!!!
-
Taking nothing away from the Penguins who were the best team in the league entering the playoffs, but this is an EPIC failure by the Caps after the season they had. Nothing short of an appearance in the finals was going to be acceptable. Sad night in DC. GO SABRES!!!

Could you imagine? Teams wouldn't have to bother icing the puck from their own zone. Just flip it over the glass, get a line change, good to go. GO SABRES!!!
-
Agree. They took all the guess work out of the call, regardless of intent. The puck either goes over the glass cleanly or it doesn't. I don't see how it's still arbitrary at all. GO SABRES!!! That's a whole different discussion. All calls could be tipping points in series, depending. GO SABRES!!!

I'd say Nixon and Ford. After them, the party was co-opted by the Moral Majority and, even if republican candidates didn't live their religion, they had to make it a point to appear as devoted Christians on the trail.

Thank-you, sir. GO SABRES!!!

Speaking of Vesey, any word on Caggiula? GO SABRES!!!
