  1. Let me take back my beer cans, I'm probably good for a couple thou
  2. Nolan would have been fine if the rest of the team had bothered to show up. He was a perfectly acceptable 4th liner in LA. It's not Nolan's fault he spent too much time above the 13th forward slot this season.
  3. Jerry: What's with all the peanut butter George? George: I'm increasing my lung capacity, Jerry! I told Susanne [a party clown] I could blow up a hundred balloons in 10 minutes and now she wants me to help her at a kids party! Jerry: A kids party! George, you don't know anything about kids! later... Elaine: What happened to Susanne, George? George: Oh, that's over. Jerry: What? Why? George: I sneezed peanut butter all over a kid... Elaine: Ohhh... George: ...he was allergic. His face puffed right up! Jerry: Like a balloon? George: LIKE A BALLOON!
  4. It is what it is. The team is bad, and we don't have enough info to really make good conclusions. This will be tough even for Botterill. We're just speculating about what we perceive to be the problems based on our own biases. And most of the speculation is incredibly base, to wit it is essentially "old man yells at cloud/those darn millennials" kinda nonsense.
  5. I think Risto is just kinda...dumb. He's good at eating minutes. But I don't think there's much else going on there. He certainly isn't developing.
  6. @aalexnil Johan Larsson says he is tired of the situation in Buffalo. #Sabres https://t.co/pTGxBSqaqJ https://twitter.com/aalexnil/status/983666922188427267?s=19 "Tedious season. Again. Third season in a row like this." On contract: "We have to se now what they say after the season. I'm tired of the sitatution as it is right now". #Sabres
  7. *shrug*
  8. Risto seems to be an obvious target from all that I've heard.
  9. I dunno. I just think it's very interesting. I would love to be a fly on the wall in Botterill's exit interviews with the players to see who blames who.
  10. I agree with Johnson. I just don't think it matters much.
  11. What's interesting to me is how many guys were willing to admit that the team is messed up and the roster is going to get turned over. That's a frightening vote of no confidence in their teammates. This team is as fractured as ever and there are clearly some strong opinions in the locker room about who on the roster is to blame. I see a lot of not so subtle shade being thrown.
  12. Was Miller wrong?
  13. Let's goooo God dammit, I just realized my bracket is almost the same as Flaggs
  14. Them's fightin words.
  15. Dammit Charlie.
  16. Just like Derek Roy's basement
  17. I'm green with envy. And gas. But mostly envy.
  18. The problem is that it can be perceived as a guilt tactic. He is essentially calling out his teammates by needlessly trying to take complete responsibility for the failures of the team. I have to imagine it rubs some guys the wrong way because even though it may seem genuine it's kinda like "you guys are doing this to me."
  19. This is why I need guys like Ullmark here. We need dudes with his mindset to calm the locker room. O'Reilly is a good player, but I think he's one of those people who is super sensitive to the mood in the room and it messes him up. People are like that.
  20. Excuse me, but please assign all Goat videos to the Sunshine thread.
  21. Trust me. Kyle is not indifferent. In fact he's the opposite of that.
