I watched the first half until just before the UPL penalty then saw the score and skipped ahead to see WTF happened. Why does it matter?

Dude it was just a run of the mill call, most of which are debatable depending on whom you're rooting for. How do you get to MFT? It shouldn't have sealed the team's fate, not given how the Sabres can score and facing a backup. It didn't lead to a 7-1 loss. I pray no one on team shares your defeatist and "the fix is in" mindset. Also Johnny Boychuk says hello.

Marchand was getting a penalty. Krebs retaliated costing the Sabres a PP in a must win. Did it get UPL fired up enough to put his own stick to Pasternak seconds later leading to a 4 on 3 goal to break the scoreless tie?

Thanks. I did a lot of FFing after finding out the final score. The call was borderline since Pasta was already going off balance. But UPL finished him off with a lift of his big goalie stick. Coulda been tripping and diving/embellishment. Whatever the case I don't think it was the defining moment of the game or any evidence of MFT status.

Oh OK. In looking at google maps I see I wasn't that far from a CTB Kitchen location which I'm sure would have been better. Hoo boy. The meat with the sheen. I think I might have preferred it.

I find the worst ways to learn the final score when watching the game on replay. I open texts, read emails, turn on the TV and see the score. Tonight I went to sabres.com toward the end of the second with the game scoreless to seek more info on streaming games. Who woulda thunk they'd have the final score? I couldn't believe my eyes. I still can't. UPL was awesome. To that point anyway.

Here's my opening. I've been meaning to ask how we think Adams' tendencies play in the room. I would guess that the young core is fine with it and might even appreciate the trust. And they think they have forever to make the playoffs. The older guys? Maybe not so much. Tuch cough cough. We all trust in linear progress.
