I agree. I think he signs here if Buffalo offers 2 years, but it's a lot less likely if he's a deadline trade before that.

Vegas is picking (IIRC) 30 NHL players in June, you have to figure the average cost of the top-end exposed players will be around $3M. I don't think they're going to have trouble getting to the floor, so they'd only pick up Moulson if they really thought they'd be bringing in talent.

Easier said than done. If Gionta is going to sign a 1 or 2 year deal, why Buffalo and not a team that'll be competitive next season? I know he's marginally local, but if I'm him and my goal is a shot at the cup in the next 2 years, Buffalo is not where I'm signing.

Enough of Brady and the Hoodie, Time to Root for the Falcons

I'm rooting for my neighbor's party to have some good beer and food. -
You weren't there, man. Obama can't cover it up. (I'm joking on the second sentence, but I have no doubt that someone somewhere is arguing that it really happened and there was a coverup)

Murray *may* (I'm not conceding the point), but DD has destroyed the offence. If the team is going to lose, I want to see losing 5-4 games.

Youth today know nothing. They're already forgotten Bowling Green. (I assume that's what he meant)

I'd be wary of anything that introduces particulates into the lungs.

Sabres lost to the Lightening, I'm at 2085 I think. Or out if there are time limits, whatever. 10 on the Sabres at +120. I kind of want out.

We've shared beers at times since we were dating; my wife generally "doesn't want a whole beer" these days (unless it's 3 1/2s of my beers). :)
-
Very minor complaint: my wife drinks my beer. Generally I don't mind, but sometimes I just want to pour a single beer and nurse it for an hour while I'm cooking or whatever. I feel oddly pressured, since if I don't drink the beer it'll be gone. :)

Vaping seems like one of those things where we're going to find out in 10 years that it's twice as bad as asbestos for your lungs.

Rolston and Nolans must have run out of tickets. :) Hitch: if he's still using the trappy Bylsma-like system that he played for years, ugh. If he changes his style to fit the players, maybe. Moot though, from the sounds of it.

If I remember right, it's a ways out so LIRR. I think even LIRR and then a shuttle. Whoops, no shuttle, Train then Bus or Cab. http://www.nassaucoliseum.com/getting-here That far out in the suburbs though, I think you have more people that drive.

Hank took a snarky shot at d4rk, d4rk took a shot back. I'm not sure why anyone would choose a side as it looks pretty equal to me.

Lando's got some 'splainin to do. :)

I realized something last night: when I used my PS3 to watch games, I had the scores turned off. In the NHL app on my phone, I don't, and I'm far less likely to put on a game late if I know they lost. This has happened with the Dallas, Nashville, and Moerayall game.

I'm on it, don't worry.

Personally, it's tough to waste time worrying about a substandard (but looking up) hockey team where there are so many other things to worry about. I'm toying with buying some tickets in Ottawa towards the end of the season so I have a good excuse to cross the border. You know, just in case. I hear some rumors that the US Marshalls are refusing to serve warrants to CBP because the US AG says not to. That's not how this works, I really hope there's still a functioning Judicial Branch in a week if that's true. Mostly for Eleven's sake. :)

Goal judge: Seems like watching an above-the-net feed of the goal is a better perspective for seeing the puck cross the line. If you play around with NHL.tv they usually have a multi-cam feed for games, where there are three camera feeds: broadcast feed (what you normally see), and the two over the net feeds. The strange thing is they're usually not in sync very well, but it's interesting. I'd bet there's still a goal judge somewhere in the building that just watches that feed. http://www.denverpost.com/2007/08/29/goal-judges-uprooted-seats-become-available/
