  1. And by doing that, they actually helped the Bills make it close with the sack/fumble.
  2. Why are candidates being asked if they would vote for a muslim presidential candidate when there isn't one in the field? I love how it's always the dumb questions that stir up controversy.
  3. I was listening to recaps of the preseason games on XM this morning and the Philly announcer referred to an Islander goal scorer as "the former Russian". Explain that one to me.
  4. No, I understood you. I just wanted to say more about that call.
  5. Quick cuts are now offensive PI. Who says everything the league does is meant to help the passing game?
  6. Is the in response to all of the "you owe me an internet apology" posts? Those ones are hilarious and I have no clue why anyone ever needs to apologize for what is said in this threads, especially to a guy who had three posts in here up until the demand for an apology.
  7. I'm not interested in blaming the refs for anything, but that guy who called the offensive PI on Watkins should never be allowed to call a game again. This phrase gets thrown around a lot, but that may very well have been the worst call I have ever seen. If I remember correctly, that was right before the flag thrown on the bench. I watched the whole thing on DVR with a ton of fastforwarding though, so I did miss all of the analysis during the game and things are a jumbled mess in my mind.
  8. Bostonians, the Brad Marchand of people
  9. Have you ever read those fake QB facebook conversations? LGR is Ben Roethlisberger.
  10. "I will be absolved. I did nothing wrong." That would probably have been a more natural way to write it out. Still, easy to screw up if you read it fast and turn it into one sentence like the one you've been quoting.
  11. I'm just glad I'm not the only one who thinks of Milt Ellis each time I see the name Matt Ellis.
  12. Ahh crap, it was Sundin, wasn't it? Anyway, that was one of the funnier stories I saw come out of NJ this year, that Lou wouldn't let anyone wear #13.
  13. Was anyone in Toronto planning on wearing number 13?
  14. I would have swore you were going to go with Pimple popper MD, but then I remembered that was a Jerry line.
  15. Yeah, but you're probably thinking of the Nilsson who was already with the Islanders. They just added a new younger Nilsson from Toronto who hasn't played a game in the NHL yet.
  16. I'd imagine most companies laugh off petitions. They're pointless. The team is going to be getting a larger and more important petition this year that is called jersey sales. I bet they're cleaning up on them right now.
  17. My wife sees a dermatologist for a specific condition (luckily nothing bad like cancer) who sees patients one day a week for 4 hours. She's the one who specializes in this condition, so is pretty much the only option. What a sham that is. What's the point of even keeping a doctor on staff to see patients if the hours are that crazily restricted? Maybe you're running into something like this. Either way, what a lousy situation.
  18. I'm amazed at how awful customer service has been in the NC area since I moved down here. At this point, I can't count the number of places I have called for quotes on a service (landscaping, movers, doctors offices, you name it) and never got a return call. Are companies here really so busy that they're going to turn down a shot at more business? If nothing else, I'm going to learn a ton of new skills because it seems like I can't count on anyone for anything.
  19. Based on the title of that video, I'm going to go ahead and guess that Bart Scott never actually flies at any point.
  20. Paul pretty was dead on with the sophomoric comment about Trump. Just watching him throughout the whole thing. He was like a hyper child up there. Yes it does get ratings, but if people seriously think that can be president, we're all screwed. I don't think that people truly believe he should be president, but the stupidity of the average American has exceeded my expectations nearly every time. As for the format, I agree that it is pretty painful. People seem to have responded better to the "minor league" debate better both times. I only heard a brief portion of it yesterday, but I think they'd be much better to divide the big one up into two smaller groups. The candidates in the first one get more time to focus on a topic instead of jumping all over the place so that all 11 can get a word in. It's such a waste of time. People can't drop out of this thing soon enough.
  21. They also thrashed the Chiefs the following week if I remember correctly (just looked it up, it was Jacksonville). The national media was all over them at that point, with what looked to be a very potent offense.
  22. In response to the bolded line, yes, that is exactly what I expect. As for the rest, take a look at the two possibilities setup in this thread by certain people. The Bills either blowout the Patriots or they (the posters) are upset. These are the two forms of delusion that this team has created over recent years. We've all lost our minds.
  23. If you read "in the system" as guys currently at the AHL level, the statement makes much more sense. That's how I read it.
  24. Wait, people were referencing that song? I had no idea! :wallbash: You need to work on your material. It's only funny if you post a video of Randy Marsh singing it.
  25. That's kind of like me with the Bills. Until they actually qualify for the playoffs, I will believe that they will miss the playoffs. That doesn't mean I won't enjoy the ride, it's just that I've fallen for this far too often over the last 15 years.
