  1. I did too... but I went to high school in the 90s :D
  2. Hey CV, I may be testing out the Carolina Brewing Company brewery this weekend. Anything good I should look out for there?
  3. I'll admit it. I don't have the slightest clue who Cedric Reed is.
  4. Seriously. He earlier called the thread a train wreck and now he's offering up incredibly helpful posts like that one. If you think the thread is a disaster, make it better, don't stoop down to its level.
  5. I'd remove the white shoulders from the Avs jersey. The Ducks one looks slightly blinding, at least on my screen.
  6. Red Skull has always been the main villain for Captain America. They're running with the source material there.
  7. This is a rare moment where I miss the like button.
  8. Tank4Matthews
  9. The word "another" is what is going to catch the most fire from your post. Whether or not you actually were implying something there, it sure does look like you were.
  10. I did something similar when I was in eight grade, scrambling for a loose ball (shut up inky) and tripped over the other player. I wound up going head first into the wall though. That was a fun one, I remember falling and then next thing I know I was on the other side of the court with a coach checking on me. It's a good one to look back on and realize how much things have changed today with the concussion scare. I wound up finishing that practice after waking up.
  11. How hard were you fouled if you wound up hitting a wall?
  12. A cricket decided to announce to me at 4am earlier this week that it had taken up residence in my house. It found just the right spot so that its chirping echoed up our stairway. I went on a hunt that morning and I did manage to find one, before returning to bed. The chirping started right back up though. I could find the general area, but not where that one was. The next day I put down some glue traps and got one right away, now I'm just hoping that there wasn't any type of nest in there with more to come. The fact that I got two of them doesn't leave me hopeful. On that note, we have some of the biggest crickets I have ever seen in our neighborhood. That's no complaint, just an observation. I have no problem with them whatsoever, but if they make it into the house, the little SOB has to die!
  13. Practice squad eligible?
  14. I don't mean to say that they're worthless, just that they have very limited worth. There is a distinction there. You lost me on this one.
  15. I'd imagine that Rex liked something about him when he was coaching him last year. Ignoring the news around it for a second, this is the typical NFL move where a coach picks one of his old guys from his previous stop. My guess is he winds up cut anyway. And as for Geno pressing charges, he'd probably never hear the end of it on or off the field in the future if he did. He's going to hear it for a while anyway, but pressing charges would take it to another level.
  16. The idea that she accompanied her friend would be a big one. The rest of the article seems like a waste of time to me. And this isn't an issue just with the Buffalo News, but with most media out there. All of these "she's a good person who would never do this" quotes from family or friends are so worthless to me. You see that with just about every single news story out there, whether it is a rape case or someone joining Isis. That one may be right up there at the top of news reporting cliches.
  17. I just get the assist.
  18. September 15th is the release date. I'm sure it's not a major fix if they don't mind absorbing a little hit from the cost, but that's a big if when it comes to any business.
  19. That and they probably have a limited window where they can update the cover of the game before it goes on sale.
  20. I would have gone with the term "whipping boy".
  21. It's not really about you though 3putt, it's about who the fanbase as a whole will jump on. If I had to choose one, it would be one of the defensemen, they're usually the one. I kind of want to say Weber, but he's not high enough profile, so I guess that makes it Gorges.
  22. I'm inspiring threads left and right lately.
  23. And if all else fails, just jump in on the complaints about whoever this year's scapegoat will wind up being.
  24. It seems like we have a winner.
