This ultimate survivalist guy and he gets bit like that? Stupid Morgan.

Jan, I have a ton of candy for you. We didn't get a single person from outside of the neighborhood. The whole thing wound up being a great meet and greet for all the new neighbors. My personal favorite was this little 1 or 2 year old girl. We were talking to her mother and only I was paying attention as she kept walking back and forth between my candy bowl and her mother, grabbing a single piece of candy each time. She must have done it at least 15 times. It was hilarious. We als found the fun street in the neighborhood. Ours is apparently the "stick up their " street. We were out there until 12:30 or so with fire pits and beers. This is going to be a fun neighborhood.

I have no idea what happened anywhere in the league today. It's a nice feeling actually.

I saw this today. I know who I'm voting for.

Wasn't he in there system at some point, essentially as a token signing? Actually, now that I look him up, he is in their system.

Yeah, the video actually makes it look like he stole it from two kids.- 495 replies

It's not like he was carrying the puck and the center of attention on the ice at that moment...- 495 replies

We're brand new though with maybe 25 houses lived in. Hopefully people see the construction and think it's not very lived in yet. What could screw us though is that Holly Fest thing going on right next door. That could draw in some early visitors.

Apologies if it's already been mentioned, but the old man stealing a puck from a kid seems to be getting a lot of play today. It's always hilarious how bad these things make certain people look.- 495 replies

They're dead, they can't evolve. All they can do is slowly decompose.

No love for depressed mini-Jonah Hill? -
I don't think we need to tag all of that as spoilers. The episode aired 5 days ago. At this point, if someone is reading this thread they know exactly what happened. Anyway, I'm pretty sure we've seen a walker or two in mid-meal stop and go after an approaching person. They're apparently all about finding that next meal and will go after motion over an already dead body. Then again, that might happen with a single walker, but when you've got 50+ piling up, they're not all going to be distracted. As for celebrities, buno nailed it. That would be perfect for Fear. I think I mentioned it over on the Bills board, but I would have loved to see a zombie Kobe Bryant come out of that arena (whatever arena it was).

So did they score on their own net or something? Vancouver would still be credited with a shot though.

I'm in panic mode because I have no clue how many kids are going to come to our brand new neighborhood. I'll either run out of candy fast or have way too much left over. There is never middle ground on these things.

I can get past that part since it's such a catchy riff. That's all I really hear. Good point though, never thought about that.

I'll admit to not following the coverage at all, but the comments as you outlined them seem fair to me, other than maybe the parenthetical note. That sounds like exactly what Larsson will need to be to this team, a jack of all trades type who can and will be plugged into any spot.- 495 replies

From everything I've heard about that location, it sounds like it would be better for just about everyone.

But if you want to know who guys used to play for, Emerick's your guy. All I know is if Olli Jokinen is on the ice, I'm immediately changing the channel. I bet he'd even mention him as a former Maple Leaf even though he was there for just 6 games.

This GMC commercial drives me crazy. Has anyone actually ever heard a pitcher referred to as a Rembrandt?

Most people are stupid, including both the fans and the people. Twitter is a breeding ground for stupid and the vast majority of what comes from there is going to be exactly that, stupid. Honestly, at this point to me, an athlete saying something stupid on twitter is the equivalent of the sun rising in the morning. Sometimes it's fun to look at, but most of the time, meh it's just another day.

I don't know if I'm ever going to fault someone for that kind of reaction. The world is full of idiots and that includes both the people throwing random insults his way and also Sammy himself. "Person says something stupid".... STOP THE PRESSES!
