At what point did he unzip?
-
Just give it to them

Why mess with a good thing when you have the best jersey on earth? And yes, just on earth. They can't hold a candle to those home browns of the Uranus Pirates.

Don't read my posts as hate. I just think they botched this one badly.
-
And even though they weren't swarmed around his head, they were definitely swarmed around his legs. This is a rare case where they went for a shocking visual and they completely blew it. The whole thing was not thought out very whoever decided to green light it.
-
So wait, you were spoiled by the results of a game that never actually happened? This conversation has just been taken to a whole new level.
-
He killed a few that followed him, which essentially created a corpse barrier to block the rest. But there was a gap large enough for him to eventually crawl out... which makes you wonder why more didn't try to get to him through that opening.

I kind of wish ESPN would respond by never referring to them by name. I want to hear the play by play talking about #12 in blue (or whatever color they're wearing) dropping back to pass.
-
You can almost read his mind with the "is this really happening, is this really happening" thought as he swung out into a better shooting angle.
-
I hope that he's saying he wants to play next year solely to prevent the farewell tour atmosphere from kicking in.
-
They pretty much have to kill at least 1-2 regulars next week. The red shirt factor has been off the charts so far this year. It's time to make the deaths mean something again.
-
Please let the massive amount of death coming next week include Morgan

Stupid anonymous is going to do nothing but freak out even more people by posting this crap.

Kyle Williams still out? I still think whenever he comes back, he will be sporting dreads just like the rest of the D.

I had a nice random thought, but I forgot it.

Some jackass driver on the highway threw something at my car Tuesday morning. The guy initially almost ran me off the road by moving from the left lane into the right exactly as I was merging onto the road. I flipped him off, which somehow warrants pulling up along side me and throwing something. I tried to get his plate, but he staying behind me the rest of the way (we don't have front plates in NC). Fortunately I only have a small nick on my roof, but it could have been much worse as he missed my windshield by less than a foot. Dude was driving an escalade, so I really wanted to get that plate number. Even if he was a drug dealer, he had plenty of money for me.

So he will be traded soon...

This reminds me of one of my favorite games back in the days of IM. I would put up a fake away message complaining about something that someone did. The game was to sit back and wait to see who thought it was about them.

Two separate heart attacks on the same day? That's crazy

What you're seeing is gradual. Look at your plot. Granted it's early in the season, but the dropoff this year continues a linear trend that has been going on over the entire course of the years you selected. They had the slight boost in 12-13, but the line before and after that year is essentially parallel. This is not some new thing this year, it has been happening for a while now.
-
Their line makes perfect sense though and I have no problem with it. Ekblad still has a lot of growing to do though. I do expect big things from him, but it's a crazy league and you never know what's going to happen. The last teenage defenseman to win the Calder comes to mind immediately.

Seems like perfect information for the around the NHL thread. I bet there would be an interesting conversation around that.
-
Just so you know, the comment about becoming cynical had absolutely nothing to do with you. Buffalo fans are a very rare breed. We've all put up with a lifetime of heartbreaking loses and most tend to expect even more. You'll see it if you are able to stick around long-term.

My wife pointed out one of her coworkers yesterday. The guy has twin daughters that are about a year and a half. One of them wears glasses, which got me wondering. How exactly do they evaluate children that young for glasses? I can see how you can identify there is a problem, but how do you know whether or not the glasses work appropriately when the child can't communicate? "Which is better, #1 or #2... #1... or #2." I don't even want to know how that goes with a toddler.
