Looking at that original Friedman quote about Harrington, for me anyway, it's next to impossible to draw much of anything from it in it's written form. There was so much rambling, flow of consciousness stuff going on there. It somehow even becomes even more rambly in written form than I'm assuming it was on the podcast. And Blue, there's no need for me to call you out by name. I mean it far more generically than just with this conversation. It happens all over the place. Stuff in print is overanalyzed when there really isn't all that much to it.

What we're seeing here is the dangers of dissecting every single word of a live quote as if it was something that was written over the course of the day. The portion of the later conversation about how if you get one word wrong you could be in real trouble is prophetic. That is now exactly what some are doing here.

Based off of this, Scandella needs to hand over #6 to Dahlin. It's funny in a way that #11 has now been pushed aside in a luck based draft event.

And is only missing by one number on the last ball only any different than only missing by one number on the first ball only? When you start playing that game, I bet you get close to saying most of the teams only missed by one number.

It's nice to see a guy want to stick around, even when it's a fringe player.

Technically both characters in mine have no clothes. Oh wait, there's a hat.

I know they've been taking college coaches lately, but that's an awfully quick turn from his first NCAA head coaching job to the NHL.
-
Yeah, you might want to delete that one picture.

If I'm forced to cuddle with d4rk, I think I will have to take his advice and walk away. I'll leave that job to inky.

I think it's a package deal. They're running this entire show together and you won't see any real change to who gets more air time.

I'm good with all of that. My whole interaction here has been with you though and let's face it, you've never been one to shy away from any of that. I'm not sure if I've fallen into that role since I've been back. I haven't paid all that much attention yet.

The bolded party pretty much takes care of everything. Insubordination will get you every time, especially when added onto already existing offenses.
-
And of course QBs. They're always all over the top of the list of jersey sales.

Having a different point of view than you makes me a prick? That's interesting. That's one of the major problems we have today, people can't disagree without it becoming a fight. Instead of trying come to an understanding, I'm asked to leave. I'm listening here, but I need something a bit less vague.

I'm shocked there hasn't been a run on Chubb jerseys, but maybe that gets divided between two players.
-
Today, tomorrow, ten years from now. It has to get here at some point, right? ;)
-
So in other words you're going to do nothing and pretend that you're making a point? If you want to call me out for something, you damn well better be able to back it up.

No, I don't expect you to dig up posts. I was hoping maybe you had something generic. But what you're saying here is a bit troubling. I'll try to make this more generic and not about one specific person, but it's hard given how this current conversation has developed. If a woman views being questioned or corrected from a "you're doing this because I'm a woman" point of view, even if that's not the case, it's kind of hard to move forward from there. If there's a line for when it is ok and when it is not, it's next to impossible to identify.

That's the problem with painting everything with the same exact brush. You'll find countless lifelong relationships where if we use the criteria NS just laid out, they were born out of harassment.

Please tell me exactly what I'm guilty of here. I need a good explanation of how you know where my mind is better than I do myself. If I've said something to her I'd love to hear it. Quite honestly I couldn't tell you the last time I had an interaction on here with her. Granted I was gone for a long time.
-
It sure would be nice if that message came from her and not from you. You're just furthering the exact thing you are talking against.
-
I just don't see it. The two posts are essentially identical. The only difference is that you like one person and not the other.

This post made me curious. Alex Daigle was always the poster boy for blown 1st overall picks. Looking how things have gone so far, wow, Yakupov has a long way to go if he even want to come close to matching Daigle's career.

In other words, growth. They were foolish to say that they could turn this around so quickly when they first took over. Since then, they've learned a lot and hopefully things are now headed down the right path. Making mistakes at the beginning does not guarantee that they will make those same mistakes forever.

It's a dangerous game to play though. At times, things can be repeated so often, that wind up being perceived as the truth, even though it has never been proved. At some point it needs to move beyond the words of a bunch of faceless names. I have no reason to question either of you, but at some point there needs to be a bit more substantiation to any conversation like this. I'm guessing that is coming in this case, but I'm sure that you guys can understand why people might question you. The sad part is that for every thread like this one where the finger pointing is more than likely justified, there a several more where it is not. That's why I have a hard time stomaching this stuff. Was something deleted? All I see is an honest question from wild card and then two responses from PA. I just don't see any sort of attempt at putting down the woman's point of view.
