Our topic that comes up every single time is fences. Yesterday this guy who admitted that he has no interest in ever putting up a fence kept throwing out the craziest hypothetical situations to test the limits of the current list of approved fence types. That didn't mesh well with angry arrogant old guy, which I really thought was going to start the brawl. I could see that happening somewhere down the line and I really hope I'm there to watch.

I find it oddly entertaining, but that's not going to last. We haven't had many meetings yet since it's new construction and there was no board up until 2 months ago, but the same exact conversation has been had at each one. That's going to get old very fast. I had to leave the neighborhood's facebook page for that exact reason, people whining about the same exact thing on a daily basis.

Each time I see him, Tyler Myers pops into mind immediately. That's probably a clear sign that he needs to add a little more muscle to his frame over time.

Same here. I hate that the possibility even came to mind, but that's the world we live in today.

HOA meetings add a whole new level of entertainment to the whole home ownership experience. I thought I was going to sit back and watch a bench clearing brawl last night. This one guy was about as subtle as a sledge hammer to the face, demanding so many rules be changes for no reason other than he doesn't like them. He got more and more angry each time he was told that's not how things work, refusing to take anyone's word but his own. I would probably wind up being the one who gets punched in the face since I was openly laughing at the guy.

We shouldn't try and generalize this down to a case of criticizing an athlete. In this specific case, a teenager is being mocked for something very common among teens. Sure, people are free to say whatever they want and most of the time this stuff borders on pathetic, something completely unrelated to the that player's profession. The age factor here just adds an additional layer of sleaze to the whole thing.

This one looks to be a great example of why people need to be a little more descriptive when they label these situations as opposed to just saying victimized. Maybe I'm off on this one, but I get a completely different read from what Marions posted to where this isn't a bullying situation. If I'm wrong, good, because my read is something far worse. Broad terms used to cover just about all bases (and your own ass, at least when it comes to news reports) lead to more confusion.

Shouldn't their rebuild be ahead of ours seeing as how it started some amount of years earlier? This would be, what, their 4th or 5th attempt at it while we're currently on our 2nd/3rd?

I don’t mind the thought of moving him one bit. I don’t think the numbers so far this year will adversely effect any deal. If anything, the incredibly limited usage should actually have him in better shape for a new team thanks to less wear and tear.

If you say the new name really fast, I could see it morphing into Sally Field.

I’ll admit to not watching, but I have a hard time pinning much blame on a featured back who up until this week was averaging 7 carries a game. It seems like the “trash” label needs to be focused somewhere else.
-
Do you keep him for a week, give Anderson some time to learn the system, then cut Peterman after that?
-
So you're saying they passed on Mahomes because they believed Peterman was the next big thing. With that belief, they then took the risk of waiting until their second pick in the 5th round to draft him. It sounds like some fun time travel hijinks are in motion. Clearly at some point McDermott will sent Peterman back in time to do the nasty with Mrs. McDermott, allowing Sean to be conceived.

I heard random quotes this morning from the UFC higher ups saying how bad this whole thing was. If you listen to those clips really closely, you can actually hear the shuffling sound of money being counted.

The EJ mention is the one that scares me simply because they both wound up starting way too early. Tyrod was pretty much what he was by the time he got here and won the job. Both EJ and Allen were thrown to the wolves way too soon. Hopefully this one doesn't have the same ending.

That was pretty filthy from Jack. -
It read to me as a “haha your kids a drug addict”. I’m glad I threw it out here, because I was really hoping there was a different angle to it. Any time I see a twist on the “honor student” bumper sticker, I immediately assume it’s mockery because, let’s face it, it usually is.
-
I just saw a bumper sticker that did “I narcanned your honor student”. I don’t know if it’s just me, but that sticker is vile.

Except now that you celebrated, you’re about to get a baseball to the head. What exactly did you solve?

He’s evolved over time though. They initially won on defense. We’ll see if Marrone is ever around long enough to see some change. My money’s on no since no one ever does anymore.
