  1. Past hour
  2. If he could take that role and make people question why he isnt that Captain over Dahlin and not Tuch, that would be a great problem to have.
  3. Voted for Norris but feel Tage could make the biggest impact by adding defense and a bit of snarl to his game. Lead by example and others will follow.
  4. If he can pull off both, I think he'd qualify for sainthood.
  5. And the great thing about Benson is that even if these underlying offensive numbers never translate to him being a big point producer, he has so many other positive traits that he is going to be an effective player for a long-time. Someday, it will be a lot of fun to watch him in the playoffs.
  6. Me as well he is one of the people that are more likely to be a solution than contribute to the problem... IMO
  7. We could sure use him to get back to Pre Achilles form and then progress... if he becomes a producer like Peterka with a bit better 2 way game... that would be huge.
  8. I answered Quinn. Could be Norris as well. It needs to be a player that will need to step up his play significantly. I think Quinn is potentially that person.
  9. So, we are in the dog days... nothing going on... so.. if this team were to be turned around, who is your one guy that you think will either inject new life and skill, or show a massive production and leadership leap that propels us... So I didnt include established core guys Tuch, Thompson, Dahlin, Power, Byram etc... but really a newer person with maybe major upside... that said there is an "other" category if you feel one of the core players will up their game significantly and ride in on a white horse and save us... interested in your thoughts.
  10. Good news. But how about Instead of depending upon billionaire philanthropy, we go back to a progressive tax like we used to.
  11. This is beyond disgusting: https://www.nbcnews.com/video/russian-state-media-shares-video-of-vehicle-flying-u-s-and-russian-flags-in-ukraine-245202501997
  12. You really can't calculate the generational good in helping kids and families with his generous charitable contribution. People with great wealth can spend their money the way they want. That's their prerogative. He's taken a portion of his wealth and put it to good use. It's a testament to his generosity. He's a self-made man who has given back. Whether he is personally liked or not is irrelevant. What is relevant is that he should be respected for his good deeds.
  13. McTavish is a player I would try to add but I don't understand what Anaheim would want for him. They could take Byram or they could take idk some combo of RHD and other prospects to fill out their pool. I just don't know how the trade works but I would be interested in making it work. McTavish for Byram, Rosen, and a sweetener? I doubt they want Samuelsson. Ideally you would probably need to include a RHD even if they have Luneau and Warren. McTavish for Conditional 2026 1st, Östlund, Kleber? Krebs, Östlund, Rosen Kleber? Idk how to make this work or what the value is. It might be McTavish for Helenius, Kleber/Strbak, and something like Krebs or a prospect they like. I would try to figure out the trade because I like McTavish and I am confused why he isn't signed.

  15. This will be the third Children’s hospital he’s funded? I know Rochester and SW Florida already have Golisano’s Children Hospitals.

  17. A couple sprinklers were triggered and broke the line
  18. Sorry for the delayed response. I’m in again.
  19. GM Sheevyn knew that the addition by subtraction was Dahlin, Thompson, and Tuch all along. Think of the futures!
  20. Ironic coming from the party always pissing and moaning about how the left always wants to change history by removing statues. Never mind that those statues honor traitors to our country which is another irony in itself.
  21. The red flag could be unwarranted. You can easily argue Colorado felt Mitts wasn't as good as they'd hoped but what they wanted last year was a guy they felt could be better 2 way and better in the playoffs. They went for Coyle (and didn't like him either). Mitts had to go to get the deal done and fit under the cap. Different type of player with different value. We have a number of guys who might not be good in the playoffs, but we have to get in the playoffs before we worry about that. Boston may never have wanted him they just had to take the contract and they got Zellers as their consolation for doing that. So really not a "red flag" in either case assuming by red flag you mean those teams didn't like him and his play. I actually don't think Boston is moving him because unlike Buffalo they do not create spots for rookies. People there are simply wondering where Poitras fits in if Mitts is there as both are 2C types. The rumor is based on nothing more than some people wanting it to be Poitras.
