  1. Past hour
  2. The NHL establishment didn't lead him astray. As you point out, I'm sure he solicited opinions on who would be good candidates to staff his franchise. And I'm sure that a number of candidate suggestions were offered. But he was the one who made the selection/s. The problem is the manner in which he has structured the organization so that he would have a decisive say (maybe less so now) is what has weighed this franchise down. What has crippled this franchise is covered by your first two points: 1.) He thinks he knows the game and 2.) He gets infatuated with people he knows and likes. KA is an example of that last point.
  3. The doom and gloom in this thread is Sabres worthy. The Bills, as always, got NE best shot. That’s an extremely flawed team that played in their Super Bowl last night. Much like the Ravens opening night. These team gets super hyped and juiced for “the best team in the league” and put forth maximum effort. Just like the Ravens, this Pats team will regress to their level. I’m not worried at all.
  4. I can't believe there's anyone left defending Terry Pegula. It doesn't add up!
  5. Why wait to say it... one of the great tragedies of Buffalo sports will be the Bills wasting Josh Allen. The D continues to suck.
  6. Kincaid has all the makings of a great tight end. NE could not cover him. But, I think Allen has PDSD (post-diggs stress disorder) and won't commit to having a #1 target.
  7. Today
  8. Jack wanted out. Reinhart wanted out. Ullmark wanted out. Montour wanted out. JJP wanted out. If I say something that is inaccurate, then disputing my comments is warranted. However, when someone says something that is factual, then resorting to the tired argument that you won’t be happy until you drive the owner to moving the franchise is a lame position to take.
  9. I question beans drafting a lot these days. He finds nfl players sure, but other than Cook (who they barely used) who else is all pro or even all star? On offense or defense? That said, I don't follow the nfl draft much so I could be wrong.
  10. We're talking any doxxing right? I guess this isn't that, may bad. https://time.com/7323442/south-carolina-judge-diane-goodstein-house-fire-trump-political-violence/ Edit: link broke
  11. All I know of this type of play, is that our oft-injured A captain stood there like a turd while our best player was assaulted. Then we play fake patty cake the next time to placate the city and the remaining fans that somehow hold on to hope. Maybe we need to go all "clockwork orange" on these guys and make them watch Don Cherry tapes over and over until they get it.
  12. I was 75% expecting this game, I honestly don't think the Bills are the "best version" of the Bills this year. Allen consistently has no one open after having 6+ seconds to throw.... We had an easy schedule and still had wayyyy to many close calls with those games. Another year of neglecting the Offense in the name of drafting D that simply doesn't get it done irregardless. McConservative should be on a tight leash.
  13. You're forgetting that he lost a top 6 goal scorer. Norris has to stay healthy and be much better than Cozens (which is possible) and Quinn has to produce like Peterka did. Without that, your top 6 is substantially worse. I find it hard to hope when we are banking on the goalie Detroit decided was part of their problem and the one nobody wanted after Colorado shipped him out of town desperately. Doesn't exactly scream top level. The D? idk, with all the early injuries who can say. Aside from Dahlin playing well and Mrtka maybe ahead of the predicted development curve there was no real way to evaluate it. We shall see. The bottom 6 is weak. A lot of the competition went arms race on beefing up the bottom. I don't think we can compete but again, we shall see.
  14. With 11 games in October we’ll know what team we have by November. Give them the first month but if they aren’t above .500 come 1 November I would be worried. Just me though.
  15. Woody got taken to the woodshed 😜
  16. Here’s eleven for you my friend 🖐️🖐️👆
  17. The hype was overwhelming. Maye is Josh. Diggs is mature and a leader.
  18. Just the thought of another Sabres season beginning this week, caused the Bills to puke all over themselves. 🤮
  19. Getting torched by Diggs is classic Buffalo sports. Embarrassing. BTW NE is going to probably win 12 games. They only play 2 more teams with a winning record. We finally have a good coach and another franchise QB in our division. There is a decent chance now we end up being a wildcard team.
  20. The NFL needs to make it harder to make kicks.
  21. Just one game. Up to the veterans to reset. Allen, Cook, Dawkins and Brady, Babich and McDermott need to put in some mirror time this week.
  22. "And it's another Sabres........POWER point!"
  23. Really smart take.
  24. This game won’t define the season for either team. Announcers hyping them up generates interest and money. I wouldn’t read much into it.
  25. Yeah, we all saw it. The day of the PowerPoint.
  26. New England was the more physical team tonight. No run game from the Bills.
