Yes on Adams: Only if he completely strong-arms the RFAs and mangles their relations, then fails to get a goalie. No on Adams: But if he nurtures the toughness of Doan and Benson and finds a real coaching staff… Adams has been in over his head from day one. He same in as ‘hatchet man’ ( cutting staff) and created a toxic culture IMO. Then he goes in front of the mic to say he wants guys who ‘want to be here’ while also putting his excuse that Buffalo, NY (palm trees/taxes) are the problem. TP got communication he wanted on his bottom dwelling team, fans got THIS. Overall, KA has made this team worse (shocker!).

I have no complaints with the front office of the Bills . I do have complaints with the front office/GM of the Sabres. Why the different views? The body of work that goes beyond one game. This game demonstrated the importance of goaltending. Lyon was stellar. Hats 🎩 off to the team for playing hard throughout the last game of an extended road trip.

Spoke about the subtle ways teams put out fires when rumors start and that has not been done in this situation. Adams has not been in a good mood on the trip even with them winning the last three and wonders if he and the people around the organization know something is coming. Friedman mentioned the Sabres have too many cooks in the kitchen and this predates Jarmo. Jarmo tried to stay out of the way and get a true opinion on the organization and as time went on he started to offer his opinion. The last thought was we will see what happens but it has that feel around the organization.

Haha Seattle is 1-5 in their last six at home and have a total of ten goals in those games. And the Sabres still had to white-knuckle most of the the third period. Obviously I’ll take it, but it’s hard to get excited.

He's been the 6th D man for the whole trip and for 69% (22/32) of Sabres games this season. But I agree, he's been pretty good. I trust him more than Timmins to make the right play.

First things first. Jarmo is a better GM than KA. The real question is will TP give him the autonomy he needs to make the right moves from the coaches, to the staff, to the players and with the appropriate internal budget to get things done. If TP limits Jarmo in any of these areas, then nothing is going to change for the better.
