  1. Past hour
  2. I’m pretty sure the machine here converts the voice, but now I’m not sure anymore. It don’t sound robotic at all and I’m pretty sure the tech said it converts her voice. It was a while ago though, so I don’t remember.
  3. No machine auto speaks if needed for a particular exam... I do have a microphone to let a pt know when contrast starts and remind them the warm feeling is normal. If no contrast I rarely say a word unless they start moving about.
  4. Imagine having lottery picks for over a decade and ending up with a prospect pool as unremarkable and underwhelming as ours.
  5. Today
  6. You misunderstood. We experienced not having Cozens. I see what you're doing and I'd repeat me too. That's how wrong you were.
  7. Yup, the PK forwards seemed better than the PK defenseman last season. They still did not acquire a 'stay at home" solid defenseman that they lack unless Kesselring or Timmons can play that role. We will see what they bring soon enough.
  8. US has a split squad at the Summer showcase, which functions as little as a training/tryout camp for the WJC. Zeimer is alongside Hagens on the 1st line of one team, Osburn and Kleber are the 1st pair on the other.
  9. I actually like the PK forwards: Tuch, McLeod and Greenway are very good, Benson and Malenstyn are fine, Norris PKs as does Danforth and Doan seems have the skillset. It’s the D I worry about. Clifton and Samuelsson led the team SH TOI last year and neither were great. Byram was next and Dahlin started to take Power’s minutes down the stretch. (Even though Power led the team in PP goals against per 60 for the season) Kesselring and Timmins were not regular penalty killers. Seems like a gross oversight in the offseason plan
  10. Are you predicting McKenna will be a greedy, selfish, no loyalty player because he is leaving the WHL for a paycheck like you did for Matthews?
  11. Would love to see it. But can't see them going that route.
  12. Losing Dahlin for ~10 games did not help the PP at all. He and Thompson are their best PP players and both missed significant time. (Pretty much have to expect that every year w/ Thompson IMHO. Hopefully Dahlin's back is fully healed so we don't have to expect that from him too.) Expect it would've been merely AS bad as the previous year without Dahlin missing so much time. Except for the GTing being such a ??? am actually not too upset with the roster. Would really like 1 more top 6 F to limit injury related drop offs and to be that much more difficult to play against when fully healthy, but with good coaching, the skaters could be good enough to make the dance. Hate the lack of moves assisting Ruff behind the bench.
  13. <sarcasm on> What? They are 16th of the league in cap remaining, that is a major step forward in their commitment. <sarcasm off> They can make one more decent sized move if the opportunity arises.
  14. Here's the last batch I bottled on Tuesday. My daughter made me the labels for our trip to the Adirondacks (we leave tomorrow). TBH they could use a bit more bottle time, but I'll be damned if I don't drink an "Adirondack Pale Ale" in the Adirondacks. By the last day or two of the trip, I'm sure they'll be fine.
  15. Completely and utterly unacceptable
  16. I love German wheat beers. Good on your neighbour for brewing something other than the ubiquitous hazy IPAs that plague the whole craft beer scene.
  17. It’s large, but next year it will be massive: 25-26: $4.44M 26-27: $6.44M then 3 more years at $2.44M
  18. Just saw that 77 passed away Stew Barber 5X AFL pro bowler.
  19. We haven't really. Norris played what one, two games for us in a dead season? He's basically a new addition now.
  20. It's edited for effect and I'm sure parts are even added in to transmit a message. I'm sure Kevyn was acting stubborn and wanted an additional player with Kesselring. I'm sure Utah preferred to throw in a pick or something. It's a trade negotiation and we were already told on twitter teams said Sabres were hard to deal with. Kevyn likes to try to win trades. So he got a throw in at the end. Yay. Well to me that is a toss in but we likely define that differently. I wouldn't disagree with the rest of your comment. I initially reacted to somebody having him up on the top line with Tage. I thought that was ridiculous.
  21. I'm pretty sure you're correct: there was a fair share of healthy scratches in there:
  22. He got a bit more than I expected but Adams avoided arbitration. You tell us, are you outraged?
  23. ..so McKenna leaves the WHL to play for Penn State... at Pegula Ice Arena. 🤔 Seems like an odd choice as there are better NCAA programs out there. Maybe some Pegula bucks in play? That said, the league screwed Buffalo out of McDavid in 2015, and have recently voiced concern over their last decade plus of failure. I wouldn't be shocked if Buffalo somehow "wins" the lottery in 2026.
  24. Certain kinds of talent has been ignored. Goaltending has largely been ignored with hopes that the two young goalies (UPL and Levi) can carry the load. Defense, especially team defense, has been a big problem. The Power Play was figured out by the rest of the league back in the middle of the 91 point season. Hard to believe they got worse under Lindy/Appert. And of course experienced players, which often add to a teams mental toughness, they have needed more of them in the past. So the question remains - did they address these areas adequately? We shall see. Replacing JJPs 28 goals is not the biggest problem that they have.
  25. Do you know how much of those games played numbers are injuries vs being the 7th guy on a depth chart? I was just looking at his injury history and I didn’t really see what I’d call plagued by injuries. There was a bout with mini and then a full year lost to knee surgery. The rest of the stuff listed didn’t add up in my opinion with the games played numbers. So that makes me wonder about the depth chart.
