The home team for the international games are usually the conference that has 9 home games that year. I can see a scenario where the Bills play at least one home game in Canada during this timeframe. I do wonder if this would result in other MLSE Properties playing in Buffalo, Toronto FC plays a game at the new Highmark Stadium, the Raptors at KBC. That does boost ticket prices though. For that very reason, I couldn't care less about the NHL "growing the league". I'm good with the way the league was 20 years ago. Players and owners made less, but the price of tickets or a beer at the game were a non-factor.

You know the thing for me is everything just feels the same and I want some sign or feeling - even a false hope - that something is different this year. Something to make me feel this is a serious organization (which I don't think it is). Right now I think Thompson, Tuch and Dahlin will all play well to try to get on their Olympic squads. Tuch doubly so since it's a contract year. Benson will play hard cause that's who he is and the rest is just meh. Maybe Kesselring or Doan but they are unknowns. It just feels like we will see a complete repeat of last year.
