Maybe he’s a golf nut and wanted to be near St Andrews? This isn’t the time of year to enjoy the links though.

Last night was an example of how being outplayed doesn’t have to mean being out worked. The Sabres were outplayed. The Canucks had the puck, the zone time, the scoring chances. But the Sabres worked their butts off to defend the lead. It wasn’t pretty, but it was the sort of win you need to get on the road, in game 5 of a 6 game trip, with a depleted roster. No complaints. They all can’t be master pieces.

First regulation road win of the year in Game 31! By far the latest in the season that has occurred in franchise history. -

Have an early morning appointment, so went to bed after the 2nd period. Just watched the final 20 minutes. Sabres went into Alamo mode with no attack. Left Lyon to fend for himself. Lyon was fantastic. Kept us in the game. Remarkably, Sabres didn’t give the game away in the final few minutes. Timmons is a liability on the ice. Turnover Machine. Seen enough of him. Two wins in a row, and on the road. Have two days to get ready for Seattle. Chance to extend the winning streak and finish the road trip even up 3-3. Would be huge after losing the first two. Expecting Zucker, Tuch, and Norris back in the lineup. -
I voted other. The ever constant failure to address goaltending

It would take a three page poll to list all of his failures

I just picture Adams locked in his office furiously cobbling together one final power point presentation to show Terry in hopes of saving his job again. Back to Back road wins in Western Canada highlighted with the caption “I’ll Fire Anyone you want and Save You Every Penny You Need. Please Mr Pegula Let Me Stay!”

Cost the team net two goals tonight. The other night, he had the penalty on the PK causing them to play 5-3. offside when Tage scored then reversed on a coaches challenge. He is absolutely not earning his pay this year. I was not a fan of the trade, and I was ambivalent about resigning him. Only b/c I hated the alternative of having a rookie take that spot. He had the second worst xGA. Worst was…wait for it, Timmons. That dude has fallen off a cliff. Greenwayregistered one hit and had one very good blocked shot at the end. The injuries and poor play coupled with a $4m salary makes me hate Adams that much more. Untradeable at this point. Unless there a drastic change I’m done too.

Good for him if true…. UK sports fans won’t let him forget though. He will get hounded relentlessly.

“Not egregiously out of it at Christmas, year 6.” No, it points to these 3 games being meaningless in the grand scheme of things. -
Not a cop out. I just can't be bothered with long involved plans of what they should do at this stage. If Pegula doesn't make changes nothing will change so all of our hopes and wishes and plans of what should be done are a waste of time. They won't do any of them.

As I understand it he stopped drinking, went to therapy and cleaned himself up. He's still married. They apparently worked it out so he does still have some sort of family life. The internet says his net worth is 22.5 million.

Win is a win. Style points are not a thing. -
It might. If Terry decided to pull the trigger after the third road loss but assumed they would continue to lose, who knows? A third straight win gets them to an 82 point pace returning home, not egregiously out of it. KA still would deserve to be fired, but I wouldn't blame Terry for letting things play out. If a change is made while the team is winning, it would point to a shuffling of the deck IMHO.

Dumpster fire meets toxic waste dump tank team. Dumpster fire gets the win. I like wins but you have to think a losing streak would be better to force Pegula's hand. Any signs of life (which are fake because this season is over) and they might justify staying the course and blaming injuries. If only..................etc. Terrible hockey game. Canucks are garbage. Sabres had all the same turnovers and giveaways but Canucks didn't take advantage of most of them. I really cannot figure out why some people think Byram is a good D man. He is just horrible. How many minutes did Kuntar get? Can't be many. They play the same and Seattle will slaughter them. Seattle isn't all that good but they are fast and check really well. Counter punch team.

If I knew that loses against Vancouver and Seattle would clinch it, I would be right there with you. The greater good hopefully the decision has been made and they are just waiting to announce it Adams being fired would be a jolt of energy throughout the organization, players , coaches and fans it must be done! This might be your best work yet!
