  1. Past hour
  2. There are a lot of gluttons for punishment apparently. Or a lot of people planning on getting wasted.
  3. No worries. The loser point system will keep them alive until at least November 1st.
  4. Sad news today regarding the kid’s foster dog. Pup went to the vet this morning to get neutered. The little guy apparently had a heart attack under sedation and didn’t make it. The kids are crushed. He was an easy dog to get attached to. We’re all hurting a bit right now.
  5. Go team! Wish them luck. Won’t be too involved until the Jays are done. Will be interesting to see if the Sabres are still mathematically alive at that time
  6. I might if I don't go to bar 🙂
  7. I disagree, most Italians are circumcised.
  8. The price is (more than) right but if you don’t think Edmonton wouldn’t infinitely prefer whatever x 8 you are high It’s not that the deal itself is bad, it’s just on an entirely different plane from the ideal
  9. Eichel’s deal is unanimously praised look at the other Connor’s deal in winnipeg. Similar and Jack is far more valuable. Kaprisov comp..Vegas made out swell don’t really need to rehash McDavid
  10. I have a 9pm hockey game myself tonight, so with that plus putting my toddler to bed around 730ish I won't be able to catch much of the game.
  11. They really didn’t get this done? lol this franchise man
  12. Nah I'm good bruh
  13. I'm not sure who thinks Edmonton "lost" the negotiation. I can't think of anyone who is saying this deal is a problem for them.
  14. Those of you who feel that Edmonton "lost" the negotiation with McDavid--how do you feel about Vegas giving $13.5 x 8 to Eichel? I'd rather be in Edmonton's shoes. Especially since McDavid would have been 18 x 8 or more.
  15. Yeah - poor memory at my age. I looked it up - Steib wasn't even in the bigs until 1979. Game played on opening day, despite the snow.
  16. Only 33 unsold seats left tonight.
  17. The Jays starting pitcher was Bill Singer, Steib was opening pitcher for the first time six years later in 1983.
  18. Yeah but you were the only one that nailed Parmalee... just sayin.. and count me in the 30% barely... lol
  19. Most of this board is 40+ at this point. Frankly, I'd bet that 30% of it is 50+.
  20. I'm predicting Norris gets the first goal...or maybe Geerston.
  21. absolute phonetically altered spewed bs... I would literally be accenting the rear when I talked to them... of course AFTER the procedure that is... LOL
  22. A family member treats with a colorectal doc whose last name is Riordan. (Everywhere in the world, that name is pronounced REAR-dun.) The first time he called for an appointment, the receptionist said "Hello, Dr. RYE-or-dun's office ... ." My brother was like: Man, that is some bulllllsh1t.
  23. All these terms are silly. Especially team "owners" and "twelfth mans" that are closest in my football world. Those two are the worst. But Sabres neighborhood fits. They're not a nation as that would imply global reach and acknowledgement. A mafia implies some sort of above-the-law approach and strong local power dynamic or inducing fear of reprisal. Nope, they're a small local residential area just hoping to go about their business without any sirens or loud neighbors. Pleased as punch they didn't get murdered. At least they've got that sandwich to look forward to. And if Tuch walks, the team misses the playoffs, and Dahlin and TNT demand trades -- then next year they can be the Sabres Assisted Living Home.
  24. I got one better... our Gastro Doc is Dr Sheety ... after my wife came home from her colonoscopy yesterday she was like, Dr Sheety says all looks good... I was like who? Like huh... its all synchronicity my friends synchronicity...
  25. I am 100% not here to talk about the merits of the brand name "Bills Mafia."
