Hell, I'd offer for him to call my 1 year old while he's at it, except I don't want to give out even the slightest amount of personal information like that. I did just send a message to the attorney general's office though. I have the phone number and the company name, but I'm sure that's not enough. And who knows how it works with it being out of state.

Ask for their name and what agency they work for, and tell them that you are going to report them to the attorney general's office.

I've had what I assume to be a collection agency calling me for probably about a year at this point trying to get contact information for a family member. I have told them to stop calling. I assume they then pass it on to another agency and it starts all over again. I accidentally answered today because I was expecting a call. When I told the guy to stop calling, he said that unless I "do the right thing" he will continue to call and he will call my wife next. I'm thinking the right thing is to find as many agencies as possible that regulate these calls to stop this level of harassment.

I really hope the Sabres win tonight.

They are messing with a 21 year old's head. I don't like this approach. He will either over try now and thus make mistakes or he will quit (unlikely but possible). I don't see this working at this stage of his career. The veterans have to step up. Oh wait, that's right, we don't have veteran leaders. They seemed to be able to beat Ottawa last year. Maybe this year too. Notice we are already getting the back up goalie against us benefit and it's only October. Must win. 🙂

I'm hoping for a win tonight. They're only 6 points out of a playoff spot! (or something like that) I'm not optimistic and the season could not have started any worse than it has, but there's still plenty of time to turn things around. While I don't think it will happen, why not start with a good effort and win tonight, then focus on the next game? Injuries are not an excuse for uninspired play, but I know the team has a lot of injuries to key players and it looks like some are coming back soon. I have not seen much of the first 3 games, so I'm not in a great position to assess how good or bad the effort has been, although, from what I've read, they've played 2 solid periods of out 9 so far.

The bolded is not what I would want and would be disappointing. But, right now I would probably take it, so long as: 1.) Appert was named HC on an interim basis, so that Kekalainen can bring in his own guy at year's end (if Appert doesn't pull off a miracle); and 2.) A new assistant is brought in to coach the power play. Kekalainen might make an impactful trade or two. Appert might relate better to the players on the team and adjust the system, as Granato did when he replaced Krueger, to match the skills of the players. A new assistant coach might ignite the PP. I'm reaching here.

I voted to lose because I want Adams out now, but then I pause and think: What will losing do when the owner is someone we cant trust that will put the necessary resources back into the organization, and get a sharp Team Prez/GM and hire the right coach, and spend to the cap? I don't see it, so wouldn't it be more of the same?

Jack Quinn played well against Ottawa last year, 3 goals in 4 games last year. For his career vs Ottawa, 10 games 3 goals (all last year), 2 asissts, -5. (full season that would project out to 25 goals, 16 assists, and a -41)
